    Agreed on some points. The main things i disagree with you on is the notion that signing young players will be spenny.
    This is not necessarily true. We simply need to go into the second or third rate league's instead of recruiting from the top flight leagues. Why couldn't we sign players like Leif Davies from the Championship instead of paying over the odds on a name.
    I genuinely don't know what our scouts do?
    Why cant we unearth random talent from random leagues like we used to with the likes of Vidic and Chicharito. I never understood the fetish of waiting for a player to smash it in the top leagues only for us to get our pants pulled down in the negotiating stages.

      Olise missed 13 games (135 days being injured with a hamstring problem) in 22/23 season and 8 games (60 days) in 23/24 season with another hamstring problem. Isn't that a valid concern to worry about? Especially if you are spending 60 million and your medical team might be incompetent.

    • @Evo7utionHarm0ny
      @Evo7utionHarm0ny 27 дней назад

      @@mm2801 I respect that. So okay, what other points of the video seem controversial to you?
      Key points outlined in this video where imo:
      - Should consider injury record of players, especially those with long missed spells in recent seasons and would require a big signing fee and key player wages. He did not say, they shouldn't sign him, just something crucial to consider/investigate.
      - United should avoid buying players who are reaching the end of the career requiring big fees and wages considering we could utilise the money better in acquiring younger, cheaper effective players (he gave some free examples of players who could add depth to United) to enable a quicker and more sustainable rebuild without breaching FFP. The only exception is if the financial package won't cripple United in the window. Edit: reason is to avoid old players falling off and just using United as a cash cow for the remainder of years where they cannot help the team.
      - United should also consider the plan behind signing the player carefully to avoid signing players with no concrete role in the club, example he mentioned is Mason Mount.
      Anything you disagree with here?

    Great video again Thank you for your usual content with great info about the club, Mr. Atlantis.
    However, in my mind I have a belief that Mount suits the future style of play suggested by Willox for United. And as well to likes of Anyone, Amad and Garnarcho who are our RWs so my view would be to use the £60M for Olise in boosting other departments like defence, Midfield and a proven Striker and those available RWs compete for starting XI.

    @dublin7 29 дней назад +4

    Olise is a very good player but United need to focus on the back four and defensive midfield with their money. A right Winger is not of the most importance. I also wouldn't spend £60m on a right winger. Garnacho, Antony, Diallo, Sancho and potentially even Greenwood if they plan to keep him are available to play Right Wing. The positions in terms of need are.
    RCB1 - Jean-Clair Todibo
    CDM1 - Amadou Onana
    LCB2 - Jhon Lucumí
    LB2 - Miguel Gutierrez
    FWD2 - Serhou Guirassy
    CDM2 -Wilfred Ndidi
    RB1 - Denzel Dumfries
    RW- No cost effective options jump to mind.

    I don't think signing a rw is that important at united,. It is but not as much as other positions. I feel like united should utilise amad with forson as a backup more next season since sancho isn't coming back. I feel like mount should play as a 10 for united becuase he's more attacking minded and doesnt have as much stamina as bruno does to play as an 8 in my opinion.

Sign Zirkzee who is different from Hojlund in style but also can play along the entire front line. man utd should utilize thier academy players because they are genuinely good but just being mishandled. with Sancho coming back adds onto the fact that forward players are available in plenty. For me, buying Olise makes no sense at the moment, not because of his injury record but because his playing style is similar to Amad (assuming United are going to keep him). Granted, Olise is superior than Amad and proven in the PL but unless United are willing to sell all of them - Antony, Sancho, Amad and Pellistri, and then get 2 new RW with different style, United will face the same problem at the wing. For me, if United are keeping Amad, they need to buy an explosive winger who can dribble pass defenders and draw multiple defenders to defend him which lead to open space for other players. Maybe someone like Nico Williams. Our current RWs have too many similarity - can't dribble pass defenders, can't find Hojlund, shooting first, and keep passing back to our defenders as if they are running out of ideas. If United decided to sell Amad, then by all mean, buy Olise. There are times where Olise would be perfect for because of his ability to find teammate with his pinpoint accuracy pass over the top but if the opponent is very organized, United could use Nico to break down those defense formations. Just my opinion.

    i want to know why someone like Hirving Lozano isn't looked at as a bridge signing for the right side. He did well at PSV and if he could rediscover his form from Napoli or play pretty consistent as a squad player, i think he'd be a good signing and i believe relatively cheap. I also don't see why United or some other EPL team isn't looking at Thiago almada at MLS side Atlanta as he is young and and exciting attacking mid. Bring him in as the heir to Bruno's role, Mount and Mainoo split time and get someone like Gomes from Wolves as a CDM or.... I think if we went to back 3 and bought Silva from Benfica and Tolido from Nice and had the fulham defender in there... move Martinez up to the cdm spot in a 3-5-2. If we stuck with a back 4, i think we should keep shaw and trade malacia for atonee robinson at fulham, keep dalot and AWB and then look to promote from within for backup spots. Fernandez could come back his loan and play LWB LB and shaw could now be added to more a CB role as well. Olise is nice but injuries are a problem and I think Amad needs a chance to claim a spot.

      Why would pass on a generational talent? Antony isn’t fit for the championship and diallo has not shown anything compared to Olise. Not to mention his size. This team is too small!

      I get Diallo and Garna but I think Antony can go right? Greenwood seems to be getting sold so we should have funds for a right winger.
      Not necessarily Olise, perhaps we can find a winger who csn do a job for us who is cheaper and more reliable. @@movro

    I like Olise and i think he has potential but his stats are wack 14 goals and 21 assists in three seasons I'd rather take that 60M and sign a player like Jonathan David 79 goals and 10 assists in four seasons he should be a obvious choice for us

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  21 день назад

      Huh? statistically he is one of the best wingers in Europe. You don’t just judge players on goals and assists firstly but even if you did why over 3 years. This season he has like 10 goals and 5 assists and only played half the season. Johnathan David isn’t a RW

    Don't agree with this summation. We need players who are unproven and hungry for success, if we sign older experienced players like Erikson, Amrabat and casemiro it will be in lieu with the existent issues with the current squad. We need a young squad with a few experienced players like Bruno and maybe mount and Martinez

      Yes but young players cost around £30m more. You can’t only sign young players
