Dear Waves...may God bless you for your forward thinking in the DAW plugin industry
The Swedish Radio Corporation, in the '40s and '50s, had a somewhat simpler solution for reverberation - they used the elevator shaft in the SR HQ at Kungsgatan: a microphone on the top floor and a speaker in the basement part of the shaft. Of course, the elevator itself was disconnected when it was 'echo time' and a poster was hung at ground level proclaiming 'QUIET! Broadcast in progress!'
One fine Sunday morning, someone had forgotten to hang the placard on the elevator gate. A porter arriving with a heavy load for the top floor found the elevator 'out of order' and expressed his displeasure in, let's say, profane language in a loud voice.
Unfortunately, at that very moment, the Sunday Holy Mass was being broadcast live from a studio upstairs, with the 'echo chamber' giving suitable ambience to the priest's sermon…
They had me at John Lennon's "A Day in the Life" vocal sound.
It's an iconic, great sound
Actually, that was the deal breaker for me. as soon as someone mentions the F'ing Beatles! The 70s where the golden age of studio production.
I went up and search the song...GODDAMN! That's some Tame Impala-type effect!
So love all of the history around recording music...and the tricks & techniques used etc..fascinating stuff
You guys are awesome, thank you for creating these incredible plugins and making them available and affordable for us!
Great presentation Mirek.
Interesting Video, great plugin, I love it, sounds awesome !!
Immediately bought. I love this "reverb/delay/feedback" effect. It's a good counter part for the H-delay effect whit it's unique grittyness
Great job, Congratulations to the entire team.

Awesome!
7 people dislike history LOL
Brilliant, and its on a special introduction price too.
Pretty remarkable design/engineering I would say.
How many plugins are hidden in Abbey Road Studios...
...How many plugins does it take to fill the Albert Hall?
Prince Westerburg nice haha 👍
All of them.
waves never disappoints
Cool System!!!
I’ve a two piece vocal setup using my laptop and an interface....Could I use this on the plugin with multirack.?
Interesting solution
To this day the best reverb room and echo chamber we're created by Frank Zappa at his Utility Muffin Research Kitchen studios in his basement ,both studios are still intact as well as the echo & reverb rooms ,Lady Gaga now owns the Zappa Mansion ,UMRK studios and underground music vaults .
How much does she charge an hour
@@icecreammexican949 30 for a handy, 65 for the full works
Hi I wonder if any else has this problem
I purchased Abbey Road Chambers plug-in when I activate it on a track it causes a lot of noise and slows the track down
This I must get man..
Will buy this as soon as it's $29 :)
Oh snap! It's $29 right now!
Was just about to write it's $29 right now
Guys I bought it already it is awosome plugin. ....!!!
Thinking about chambers instead of reverb types. Interesting.
So it's like a convolution reverb ?
includes it maybe
it may have been technically implemented in this way
Is this now part of the abbey road bundle?
The Eternal Dreamers yep looks like it is.
The Eternal Dreamers however its only included in our bundle if the wup is ip to date
Мега мощь !!!
Lets hear it

Nice effect. Currently on sale. Don't need it yet
The other guy in the chamber looks like Jimmy Kimmel's brother who made it in the audio engineering world ! God Damn
Kind of begs to question: If Abbey Road got rid of their chamber rooms in lieu of modern equipment, what's the point of recreating the plugin to use as a tool? It's not like Abbey Road needed the space they just stop using it once technology made it obsolete.
Wowowowowowowowow
so good shame i have a windows XP still running my system & all my waves plugs
The voiceover sounds like headspace guy
This guy looks a bit like a taller Martin Freeman
its sound of hits I guess?
It's a vst plugin, not a sound library.
Sounds great.....wait
