Love the addition "Simply Living" to your channel name, Kandye. Yes, back in the day everyone had a Warren Kimble print or two in their country decor home's, as he produced very affordable art. Great video, looking forward to the next...Stay safe and cool from Arizona 🌵

So much enjoyed learning this and am excited for the next part. Thanks for sharing your talents
Thank you Nancy!
The channel name change is a good one. I’m so glad to see you branching out and sharing all kinds of things in the future! Excellent!! Thanks for the good painting tutorial. I’m a career artist and paint in the neoclassical realism style- so it’s fun to see the primitive folk art style explained. I found a beautiful carved wooden oak trunk at goodwill for ten dollars. It has a stained “ruined” flat lid. I was going to paint something realistic on it but I’ve changed my mind now! It will be a perfect surface for this style. Thank you!
You're welcome! I love all art except some of the stuff people are calling art today. We have a World class art museum in St. Louis that was built during the 1904 Worlds Fair. I could spend days in there looking at the Masters. I have art books on all different artists. One of my favorites is Pieter Bruegel. He was right before the Renaissance. I call him the Grandma Moses of the German Medieval period because of his paintings of peasant village life.
@@cabincrafts2239 I would love to visit that museum! If I ever travel that way I will surely stop in.
You should, it's worth it!
I love your idea about your channel ❤️ 🎉 looking forward to more
Thank you so much!!
Why haven't I thought to store paint bottles upside down?? Great tip! On to part 2....
Yay!
A friend of mine has the same problem with her computer, the little darlings don't mean to cost her repairs that are almost as much as a new computer! Great job anyway.
Thanks! I hate technology, especially when you only know enough to be dangerous!
I have some old cigar boxes that might just work:)
That would be cute!
I love your videos! A popular folk artist where I live in Ohio is David Harden- Folk Art by David. You should check him out as well. 😊 I think you may like his art as well
Thank you! I have heard of him. His art is beautiful!
