Wow Nayana so good to see this video… I have been carrying almost the similar items like yours except the lipstick, scarf and metro card because I drive my own bike rest all are exactly same.. but I prefer carrying a small sling bag which can accommodate my phone, chotu wallet and lip balm.. rest all stuffs I carry always in a sturdy cloth jhola proudly ❤️❤️ I have started carrying these stuffs mostly because of you… thanks for always inspiring and motivating other to follow a sustainable path as much as possible ❤️❤️
Snacks and a comb are my extras... I carry similar things... More details on where you actually do your sustainable purchases.. also a lil info on the wallet... a bag and wallet that lasted 3 years is a miracle, do let me know the brands... Also I believe the metro scanners can read thru your wallet. Try that or put it in between phone and phone case. I PREFER that as I'm really scared of losing my card...

Nayanaa!!! 💖Very similar to what I carry in my bag too. Except for cutlery, I haven't had a meal outside in a long time. But that's something I would add too. I always have tote bags and extra cloth in my car as well. Living in Abu Dhabi, honestly, I rarely see people bringing their own shopping bags. The amount of plastic consumption makes me so anxious. I totally get you, I recently gave my shopping bags to my cousin when we were buying stuff for Vishu, those were my 'just in case' bags!! What do you do about bills/receipts though? That's something I'm struggling with. They have a plastic coating. In the case of card payments too, even if I tell them not to print an extra copy, they still do, they just trash it instead of giving it to me 😢
Hey babe, receipts are made of thermal paper which has BPA in it. Never keep it with your other paper for recycling as it can contaminate the paper. The only thing you could do is trash it, as there’s no other way, unfortunately. :( They can’t be burnt or composted as the BPA would contaminate the air or soil. Or you could also try stuffing them into ecobricks. And always try and avoid it as much as possible. 😊

After seeing your videos my family has got into sustainability as well which is a very difficult shift over want to thank you for that..I know that your a vegan but can you put up information regarding the sustainable way of getting milk cos the ones we get in glass bottles are not pasteurised and the pasteurised ones comes in plastic covers
Hi Aneesh, I’m not a fan of bamboo straws, to be honest. They catch mold easily if not cleaned properly. I always prefer steel over it. But thank you so much for such kind words ☺️🤗
