March 27 practice - working 7 over 4

I recently wanted to start working on the poly rhythm 7 over 4. The way that I’m working into that feel, is playing subdivisions of seven at around 80 beats a minute. Accenting every seventh note to keep the accents on the quarter note. When I feel comfortable with that, I will move to accenting every fourth note, thus giving me seven evenly spaced notes over 4 notes.
The goal is to be able to play seven and hear four or play four and hear seven and transition to either.
