My dear friend and occasional training buddy. Hope your health is back on track brother. We need to stop bumping into each other in the supermarkets lol Bless you and your family
You heard him! We don't have to die! All we have to do is walk away! How many movies (and pro wrestlers) ripped off Kjell's character? Thanks for posting this interview. The Humungus still rules the wasteland in our memories.
10:10 As for Kjell speaking German, it was taught as a second language in Sweden. But after 1945 and the stigma of German being the language of choice was suddenly re-evaluated in Sweden. After deliberation English was then chosen as the second language for Swedish school kids. German being taught in Swedish schools was phased out probably by the mid to late 1950s.
Clint Eastwood has fired larger cartridges than .44 mag from things lighter than a winmag, and so have I despite being only 5'9" and 140lb. You just couldn't handle recoil because you had no experience. No shame in that, shit takes practice and knowledge.
Max'world is close now for us..mythic interview,i saw the movie in theather here in my town Marseille/Cinema "le Capitole"(one of the most ancient city in Europe),i was a 11 years old kid lying with my age to see it,movie was rated pg 13 or 16,don't remember..good old days when movie kicks your ass..😎
Phil Mellor It depends of which version you're talking about. I've only seen the one with the original voices. In US his and some of the other voices were dubbed.
Preben Poe Jensen...UK version. Never heard a different voice outside of the Road warrior trailer. Is there a US version that has a different voice...thats news to me.
Phil Mellor Yeah, some American movie distributors thought that the Americans wouldn't understand the Australian accent or that they would prefer to hear their own language. It's ridiculous! I who's Danish has seen The Road Warrior without any problems at all. I've seen a few clips where a voice or two sounded different. I don't know how many voices they dubbed but The Lord Humungus was one of them, and it sounds much better with the original voice. For a Swede he does a great job showing his power with both his stature and the way he talks.
@@prebenpoejensen8256...Really. knew Mad Max 1 had been dubbed but I never knew of any dubbing going on with Mad Max 2/The Road Warrior. Presuming this was just the Humungus getting the dubbing treatment?
Phil Mellor Yeah, I can understand the first Mad Max because the audio was pretty bad. I don't remember where I read or heard about the dubbing in The Road Warrior. I could imagine that the mechanic with the missing teeth was dubbed too lol. In Denmark its title was Mad Max 2 but in US not many people knew about the first one so they gave it the title The Road Warrior. “No more games!“
I have never before heard so little said in 11 minutes and 24 seconds. Right? Right? Right? I guess it was cold too. How fascinating...................... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Tom Jones If you insulted the Lord Humungus in the wasteland like that, you wouldn't last 2 minutes! You're aware that he isn't from an English speaking country, right?

Just walk away and I spare you lives...Priceless.

"It was a mantra: oh shit, oh shit, oh shit !"
Lord Humungus got some humor XD
Damn, this guy is funny! "Vernon's purple ass" LOL
I look like two pissholes in the snow?
@Maitre Mark well bodybuilders often have a huge amount of self love as well as some homoeroticism
Great interview, really enjoyed it. Cheers!

2:10 guy accidentally opens the curtain and sees the camera. “Just walk away.”
Close the gate!
He's like oh shit it's Lord Humongous
Does anybody know where the still photos are from the Japanese group? God, I wish I was there with all these people making this movie.

@Sweet Seduction he isn't wrong, if you put your body in the right position and let the inertia roll through you recoil can be non existent sometimes
you dont hold back recoil, you let it flow through your body

"I'm gravely disappointed ..."
Oh lol, every one of the actors really seems to be their character a little bit. And there just is not much to talk about Humungus' costume!
So was he dubbed in the movie?
