Well theres is one when Optimus became a prime and beat D-16 or Megatron when he beat him he exiled him frim Icon and the one light if D-16 is lost because of that shocked of his own brother just exiled him and that day he will no longer be called D-16 anymore he is gone forever 😢😢 and now became a great " *leader* " of the decepticon " *Megatron* " 😔
"I'm done saving you" is a Betrayal Line where D-16 betrays Orion Pax by dropping him into the Core until D-16 kills Sentinel Prime and becomes Megatron
Brian Tyree Henry really out did himself with his incredible performance and his deep understanding of Megatron since always wanted to play the villains. Every villain is a hero of his and her own Story. D-16 is not only a product of Cybertron’s corrupted system and takes on Sentinel Prime’s oppression though violent means all the social injustices he had experiences forged his transcendence into Megatron and building up to a rivalry with Orion turned Optimus Prime (due to wanting the same goal of a unified Cybertron but have different viewpoints). But their friendship is doomed since they discovered that shocking realization their leader Sentinel Prime had sold out Cybertron to the Quintessons after betraying his fellow Prime brothers and sisters, and ruled his planet through oppression. D-16 has put too much faith in the system he has held on to until his worldview was shattered that boils up to anger and a personal vengeance after being suffered of the social injustices while Orion still kept his optimism by exposing the truth of Sentinel's corruption. This what makes D-16 a much more of a compelling hero-turned-villain and tragic character in Transformers history. And the rift between two brothers. Both D-16 and Orion really wanted a unified Cybertron but each have different ways to bringing it into fruition.
The changing of the background is a visual language of D-16’s complete transcendence into Megatron. This Transformers movie is an ABSOLUTE CINEMATIC PEAK! It deserves more love and attention.
Seeing Megatron’s eyes turn red is shocking, and the a sign that D-16 is no more and ends up letting go Orion, and end up betraying his brotherly bond.

Bro, the amount of people actually agreeing with Megatron is so annoying. Like, do they not see the problem with that? Yes, Megatron isn't really unjustified, but just like Sentinel, he killed someone when he didn't HAVE TO. Like Orion said, the whole of Cybertron now knew the truth, so Sentinel didn't need to die, at least not then. They could've put him in stasis, a fate arguably worse because he'd still be alive but trapped in his darkest dreams. I really don't understand how people could actually agree with Megatrons choices. Sure, it's relatable, but that doesn't mean it's right. We've seen examples of stuff like this in real life. More often than not, those who rise up against oppression end up becoming worse. And the ones who lead the revolutions? Well, it's usually all about who has the most guns. "All that matters is the strength of one bot over another!" That's the logic that Megatron here is going by, and some people are agreeing with that messed up ideology. Smh.
Media literacy is dead. Social commentary has been so warped in the public eye that they can't recognize real social commentary (like this film) when they see it.
@JamarRoby That was literally ONLY the Bay-verse. And it's about time we get that garbage fire to be left behind like it rightfully deserves. You're talking about a version of Optimus Prime that is an insult to the character. Also, even though this is fiction, fiction is a good medium for philosophy. And the philosophy of this movie is exactly what I described earlier, and it's not right to side with Megatron. And you know what's crazy? Sentinel in this movie literally GAVE UP. He wasn't so damaged that he couldn't fly away or keep fighting, but he did neither of those things. He gave up, essentially surrendering. It isn't right to kill an unarmed or surrendering foe no matter their crimes. Which, mind you, Bay-verse Optimus did to his Sentinel, which is one reason why that version of Optimus should never again return. Even G1 Optimus at least STOPPED to hear Megatron out. Yeah, the latter was bullshiting, but still. A real Optimus could never bring himself to kill someone that he doesn't have to, especially those who surrender or plead for their life. I know this is fiction, but fiction can prompt great discussions. I don't understand how people can genuinely side with Megatron. It's like siding with Thanos.
@anubisshadowreaper8808 No one asked. Either give a worthwhile response or just don't say anything next time. I meant what I said, and I'm not changing it. And it's not cope, it's just me having an actual brain that's smart enough to not agree with Megatron.
Everybody's reacting to how D shot Orion but that's actually that is Canon Megatron did kill Orion and he was refigured to become Optimus prime so yeah that was always meant to happen Some cannons that they were friends like this one the others Orion was a a librarian while Megatron was a gladiator
I don't know how many times this will need to be explained, but Prime's "mercy" was only ever about D-16's well-being. He never cared if Sentinel died (he knew he deserved it anyway), he was more so thinking in the long term of the dangerous precedent a public execution of an already neutralized enemy would set when they could give him a proper death penalty for his crimes (or even authorized torture). D was only thinking about his own satisfaction rather than the good of the people who now know the truth. Wouldn't it be better if everyone had a say in affirming Sentinel's death instead of instilling fear by killing him in public? Unlike "everyone in the audience" (which isn't even true, by the way), Orion (being something of a history nerd) actually knows what he's talking about, he just needed to be more careful with expressing his concerns since D took it as him saying that he was just like Sentinel. Y'all are so lost in the Megatronian sauce. Edit: In retrospect, I went overboard with this comment
@ damn dude it’s not that deep, I’m just pointing out that people(mainly reactors) are cheering on Megatron’s execution of Sentinel. And I’m not speaking on behalf of the viewers who DO want Sentinel dead (a lot of people in the theater we went to wanted it to happen, with a little boy screaming bloody murder for D to do it), and I will admit I am a Megatron fan (but strictly IDW Megatron only). I’m not even thinking canon-wise regarding my comment, just basing it on people’s reactions, literally my comment has nothing to do with the plot or anything else-
@@IvanIsYda_ Yeah, that's fair. I made the mistake of assuming it was more than you pointing out the reactors' opinions and going a bit too far with my rant about why they're wrong on that subject. My bad.
Orion Pax's point is, punishing Sentinel did not have to come at the expense of his death. D-16 was too consumed by anger, and he didn't want D to become the same as Sentinel. I think Orion Pax considers the greater good.
@@yeonjundani i agree with that, however, like I already told the other guy, it’s not that deep. I was talking about how the general public(reactors/movie watchers) was looking for Sentinel to die. My point was that the audience, for once, cheered for Megatron’s brutality over Prime’s.
"I'm done saving you" is a Betrayal Line where D-16 betrays Orion Pax by dropping him into the Core until D-16 kills Sentinel Prime and becomes Megatron
I was just wondering if Orion Pax didn't say those words to D16 and said something else and say you just like sentiment prime? No One want to be compared to a monster or a corrupted leader.
Me and a friend decided to check this movie out because of how good the reception was. We knew nothing regarding the series. We were actually losing our minds in the nearly empty theater as Dee ripped Sentinal apart. We were blown away!
“I’m done saving you!”
This was the moment D-16 died and Megatron was truly born… 😢😱🥺

D-16 grabbed him.
Megatron let him go 😢
Megatron's new home is Kaon the capital city of the Decepticons

We all know the fallout, but seeing this in theater is ALL-OUT insane and shocking as hell...
It really is! I find it more tragic to see their brotherly bond is shattered. To D-16’s perspective, he think Prion betrays him.

I love how they do the ONE SHALL STAND AND ONE SHALL FALL in this movie.
D16 STANDS becoming Megatron, While Orion Pax FALLS to become Optimus Prime
That is fucking awesome. Thx for pointing that out!
XD So that's what they ment when they said that XD They were talking about this XD

In D’s eyes, he felt betrayed by Orion.

@ when Orion Saids “Don’t be like Sentinel”, those words his friends had spoken betrays D-16.
“I’m done saving you.”
The four coldest words in cinema this year.
Optimus Prime in his mind : "So be it."
D-16 died internally, and what replaced him is Megatron.
Seeing your reaction to their reactions is awesome haha
😂❤
I just watched the movie and I am shocked that this wasn't marketed better. Seeing this in theatre would have been amazing. That seen made my jaw drop
#SAVETFONE
Being so honest Gor has the best reaction and I love your reactions to all theirs too!
Thank you..😍
D-16 caught Orion, Megatron dropped him.

The live action movies only got the surface level details, and none of the deeper core within. They had no spark.
the number of people agreeing with Megatron here is incredibly disheartening
The music they used when d rips sentinel in half was from the war and fall of cybertron games
All these people who wanted Sentinel to die.... Shame on you. Optimus would be so disappointed....
Agreed. Sentinel deserves it, but Orion was trying to stop D-16 from stepping down to his level.
Nga I don't care lmao
Can you do another compilation of their reaction becoming Megatron and Optimus Prime pls
coming tomorrow
Is anyone really approved Megatron decisions and not Optimus?
So thats the reason why megatron activates his sharingan it’s because of optimus
He unintentionally triggered him.
🙂
Yooo Sorta Stupid let’s goo
Hes not Optimus till he resives the matrix and d16 isnt megatron yet till he kills sentinel
