    As a record collector and lover from a very young age, this is very fascinating to know the physics behind cutting the master platter. Thank you!

      Then I think you'll like the second part where it is showcased how a lacquer disc is converted into a metallic disc.

      @@AccidentalScience I did watch it -- I remember reading about the vinyl record making in my GCE O-level Physics textbook and that black and white picture of the engineer holding the metallic disc from the 'wash basin tank' is still etched in my mind. Thank you.
