Man, I thought you knew more on Jeeps than me, but the Iron Duke most definitely was NOT the standard-or ANY engine in ‘77. It would have been available starting in ‘80 or possibly ‘81 off the top of my head. In ‘77 it was the 232 AMC 6. Still...gorgeous CJ-5, brings me back to my first of 5 Jeeps: the ‘AMC 360 swapped 78 CJ-7 I had in HS, circa 1990.
Thanks, Dennis! As always, great segment. Had a early 1950s Ford tractor to mow the farm with as a kid in the mid-1970s, brings back a lot of great memories!
Great video. I’m a big fan of CJ-5’s and old Ford tractors also. During the 70’s here in upstate New York we use to put 6’ snowplows on CJ-5’s. You could easily plow driveways and sidewalks with those
Enjoyedthe video- Dennis I actually farmed for over 30 years in N.C.with a tractor just like that 1- wish I still ad it, today- Let's see Kelsey drive the tractor!!!! Bob H.
Wowser Dennis ! the back way is the way to go more fun.Donuts on a tractor how crazy is that.Love the Golden Hawk and the black Renegade. The green/brown for down town and the black for up town.Great vid keep it real and your fam safe.👍♥️🙏🇺🇸
I didn't know you were right there in Wylie Texas right along the Kansas City Southern as it comes roaring out towards Shreveport a couple of times a day.
I drove one of these for several years mowing a 38 acre Church camp my parents took care of back in the 90's. 60 or 72 inch mower deck behind it. Lots of fun especially mowing the embankments around the pond at a 60 degree angle. Sat on the opposite fender to keep the thing from rolling into the pond.
Twin turbo diamond addition track hawk jeep 2020 I hear it's the gap sauce champ it gapped hellcats at the RUclipsrs race meet with demonaligy #srtbrea and #kooliebekoolin running down hellcats with his he even let off the gas at they end on most of his races Mickey Thompsons on all 4 stuck him down and he killed it . Can u build something like that and dominate .
I have a very pretty 9n Ford. Nothing wrong with it. My dad said it was a 40 some model. I’d be willing to let Dennis buy it mine has the Sherman 2 speed also
Never ever stand up on a moving tractor it is unsafe. However I am glad you’re enjoying it. My dad had a Jubilee which I’m sad to say sold it recently to an old elementary school friend.
Growing up in Ohio a farmer neighbor who also worked at Ford Engine plant in Brookpark had a love for anything Ford of course and especially the tractors, he had several of the early Ford tractors which he used on the farm and maintained and rebuilt when necessary himself
There is another lesson about the past, present and future. You can not change the past, you cannot predict the future, the only thing you can control is the present. I want that CJ-5. How do I inquire about it and see some detailed pictures ?
Lol. You don’t have to shift gears on a tractor. You can just start out in whatever gear you want to run in. Haha. That was the first time I’ve ever seen someone shift gear on a tractor. Rich guy problems. Lol
Dennis you can do donuts on a tractor, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right or left and stand on the corresponding break pedal...Good luck and I love your video's...
Dennis that tractor is the bomb. However the old grandfather law still says if you're going to drive it on the farm route you have to have headlights at least one tail and brake light although no blinkers are required due to you can use hand signals. Just in case you didn't know. I would hate to see you get hassled by the law although I'm sure they would let you go without a problem.
it's actually fast to be a tractor from the fifthies tho likke the Eagle Version Jeep to cool video, and vehicles doesent allways have to be fast to be fun.
SOUNDS LIKE THE BOYS OVER AT GAS MONKEY HAVE GOTTEN WEAK SAY THAT C7 HAD ALOT OF RUST.. THAT TUB IS IN GREAT SHAPE DO THOSE THINGS WERENT BUILT IN HEIRLOOM QUALITY . .. FUNNY HOW MONEY AND FAME SOFTEN YOU . I DUNNO IF YOUR INERESTED I HAVE A 93 MAZDA RX7 TWIN TURBO AUTO WITH 63K ON ODO RED IN COLOR . UN MOLESTED. IF ITS IN YOUR WHEEL HOUSE HOLLA
We had a tractor like that and when brush hogging on hot days it would boil the gas in the tank and vapor lock it and you'd have to let it sit and cool. I hated it. Liked the old Massey Ferguson way better
Great video! the transmission is not in sequence because you are not required to shift through, made to be able to pull into the field and start off in 2nd or 3rd depending on what you are doing.
Lifted all your responsibilities off your mind for a moment there. Nice when life feels that way. Standing on the tractor with water roosters from the wheels.
That ole tractor is pretty fast to be that old. Recommendation to keep you road legal. That tractor to be ran on the road is suppose to bave a orange triangle on it. Cool old tractor though. Very well taken care of for sure
Multi millionaire driving an old tractor on the road to get donuts in Texas. God bless Dennis Collins.
Binge watched before but binge watched again this week in self isolation greetings from steve in England to Dennis and all who watch 🇬🇧🇺🇲👍
That’s a terrific quote....
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift that is my present to you.” 👍
That quote got me choked up!! That puts things in perspective, well said sir.
💯%
Always wondered what happened to that tractor. What a great video....Thank you DC!!👍💪🔥
Love old tractors! Dennis seems like a great guy! Nice of him buying doughnuts 🍩 for his crew. 🇺🇸🚜👍
I have to say the old tractor looks good 👍
Love the episodes Dennis! Keep me coming!!
More BMW M1 content please, all the best from Scotland
Now that's a FORD I can get behind! Uh, Thank you. 🤣🤣🤣🤠🙏❤🇺🇸
This is one of the best episodes. The beginning with the quote is phenomenal, and the end with the tractor ride is even better.
On the next week's coffee walk, Jay Leno and Dennis compare classic tractors.
Funny comment because Jay actually has a few tractors. He has an old steam tractor and a 1960's Lamborghini tractor.
Dennis needs a Porsche tractor. They made them too.
This was my favorite ride along.
Dennis is just a boss! 👌🏽 definitely bringing good vibes in these times ! Loving the content all the way from 🇮🇪
I had a smile on my face watching this and didn't realize until he told me about it
Just watched this... I'll never go by another donut shop without thinking of this n grinning..👍😁
Watching you drive the tractor to the store just made my week !
He always has the nicest jeeps
Love the vintage tractor
That was very entertaining thank you Dennis🇮🇪
Your quote is inspirational!!!! That’s all I can say in what’s going on in the world today!!!! Thank you!!!!
that was cool !!!!!!!
Tractor walk! Love it😎
I remember when tractors in that area were a common sight.
It should have cutting brakes on it!
you knocked it out of the park again, amazing 😃😃😃😃
Love the Tractor, That Thing Could Fly!!
How cool can you get!!👍
It’s funny, some of us grew up using those tractors many years after they were made.
Thanks for sharing. Denis y'all stay strong and healthy
Dennis- GYSOT!!! Mann u made me smile when you chose the back way!! Bloody brilliant!! 🇬🇧❤

Like to see some of those soft “heritage” full doors for TJs..........😉
Thanks, Dennis! As always, great segment. Had a early 1950s Ford tractor to mow the farm with as a kid in the mid-1970s, brings back a lot of great memories!
LOVE Jeep CJs. Thank you Dennis Collins for Coffee Walk! Can't get enough.

Dennis has got to be a very amazing person to work for! Damn I wish I lived out that way I’d do my best to get a job there!

I didn't know you were right there in Wylie Texas right along the Kansas City Southern as it comes roaring out towards Shreveport a couple of times a day.
Best episode ever!!!
The boss is buying donuts with a tractor👍🤣
Greetings from the netherlands🇳🇱
Dennis my second vehicle I ever owned was a 77 CJ7 Golden Eagle A/T, 304 Cid. Same color as this cj5.
Loved the tractor. Had both CJs and tractors in my younger days. My wife isn’t happy with you though because I am now thinking my garage needs both.
Apparently you do not need an SMV sign on farm equipment in Texas? Pick up a 2 cylinder John Deere if you see one, that will make you smile.
Denis have you ever seen a Hawk CJ? Mine was a 1983. SEMPER FIDELIS
Looks just like the 601 workmaster i plowed snow with in Michigan in the 60"s, very good tractor
First time i see dennis drive a tractor woow
Hi Dennis, aim petrol head to,but you need to take the coronavirus virus seriously, and protect yourself family and employees ..
Love the videos, DIY if you put your cream and suger in the cup first, you won't need to stir, save a stick, save the planet...

keep this great stuff coming, Dennis! There are always ways to get out and have some fun.
When are we gonna see the "C2C Express: Farmers Invitational"???
Dennis you can do donuts on a tractor, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right or left and stand on the corresponding break pedal...Good luck and I love your video's...

My dad and I put v12 flathead in ford 8n tractor check my RUclips chanel too see it
Can’t do donuts on a tractor....but WHEELIES are always an option👍
What a life!
Renaissance man!
New play toy.
In St. louis QT stopped selling donut because of covid-19 (self serve)
Dennis one question I have , did the cj7's have a wider wheel base than the cj5's. I know they are longer.
it's actually fast to be a tractor from the fifthies tho
likke the Eagle Version Jeep to cool video, and vehicles doesent allways have to be fast to be fun.
Dennis excelente idea para comprar tractores viejos para uso diario. Compro la idea. Saludos desde Mexico

This dude is badass! Slow down on the coffee though. Just because it’s free doesn’t mean you have to drink all of it lol
I'm a old farm boy, he was going a Little fast for the terrain, but it was fun... (: 🤠
We had a tractor like that and when brush hogging on hot days it would boil the gas in the tank and vapor lock it and you'd have to let it sit and cool. I hated it. Liked the old Massey Ferguson way better
Surely the top you intend fitting IS aftermarket, and isn't most of what you sell after market?
Great video! the transmission is not in sequence because you are not required to shift through, made to be able to pull into the field and start off in 2nd or 3rd depending on what you are doing.
you guys and Rawlings are my go to ...since i dont have tv setup!! love every content you guys put out...!!
I used to drive one of these in the early 70's mowing fairways at the golf course...lot of fun to drive.
Lifted all your responsibilities off your mind for a moment there. Nice when life feels that way. Standing on the tractor with water roosters from the wheels.
Nice tractor, I'd take that over my 2n. Thanks
One of your best videos, thanks I seen FM numbered routes before but never knew what FM meant
He's alot like Jay Leno,a true auto enthusiast being he's not picky when it comes to vehicles.
I think the backwards shift pattern is from it being made in England. Right hand drive roads there.
Oh the memories of learning to drive on my grandpa’s 8N in West Texas.
So it’s been a year since this uploaded. Does the tractor have a hemi swap yet? 👍🏼😁
Hahaha... Now everybody watching this channel wants a tractor!
You brought a smile to my face. Well done Dennis!
QT donuts???? If you were going to offroad on the Dart trackage you should have gone to the real donut store just to your west.
That ole tractor is pretty fast to be that old. Recommendation to keep you road legal. That tractor to be ran on the road is suppose to bave a orange triangle on it. Cool old tractor though. Very well taken care of for sure
This video unlocked so many happy memories of me learning to drive down the street with my old man ❤
When that tractor was born gas stations like that did not exist amazing how much change that beautiful old tractor has seen
What was the model of jeep that Mindy drove in Mork and Mindy Dennis?
Great show once again
Love it. I’ve got a ‘48 8N. I call her ‘the Beast’. And she is a beast. Not as smooth as this tractor.
Did that spear tire lock take the jeep key? Or was it a different key?
Tractors are cool!!! If you need anything for your old tractor go to Yesterday'stractors.com
Ha. That tractor looks like the one I learned to drive on. Ours was a few years older. 👍
Came in a little hot to the donut shop. Locked up the drivers side rear and the curb helped stop you too. Hahhaa
