I think that he's right, platinum and palladium are substitutable, so in time their prices should equalise. The problem is that if demand drops because of a worldwide recession then the palladium price could drop to the platinum price and both could then drop together further. Like all miners interviewed he is a salesman.

Yes interesting. Both Pt and Pt were very overbought in mid 2008 before the crash and they got CLOBVERED. However, platinum is still near the bear market lows and maybe below cost of production? Pd is high priced as well as rhodium. It's hard to imagine much downside for Pt unless demanded goes to 0.
Here we go again, same time last year he was pumping platinum.

Why not talk about gold ? Gold and silver is like nothing else. USD up they fall. USD down they fall too. What’s going on for gold and silver. Inflation rate not even matters a bit for them. They just stay going low.

And uranium miners. Royalties may serve you better, esp with copper, lead, cobalt, nickel and other EV metals

Not quite yet. In a huge stock market crash everything you mentioned will go down. US Treasuries will be the only asset to rise, then sell them near the market bottom and buy gold and gold miners. You're correct, but just early.

Yes, on both counts, especially when self driving cars become widespread. But cars could become unaffordable for many.
Windmills and solar will power us when the wind blows and the sun shines. On a calm night, there will be blackouts. No-one will afford cars or the electricity for them. E-scooters for everyone. Rented.
