Question, after you draw the foul at 5 meter, after 3 seconds have passed, can you go up and press again? I've been ejected twice during a game after waiting for a total 5 seconds rather than the normal 3.
Yes, you can. You can either take the quick shot, or you have your free throw just like after a regular foul. You could even pump fake the goalie because he doesn't know whether you are taking the shot or using the free throw. But once you did your pump fake, you wouldn't be able to shoot it, it would have to be a pass from that point.
I got an ejection for jumping on the guy who had a 5 meter free throw, and I thought the signals for the ejection meant that they exchanged me from the team for a sophomore, so I tried to get out of the pool. ;(
@@williamritchie5462 In a man to man press, on the perimeter, you should have your hips up and one hand on your man when he has the ball. Not grabbing them with the hand, I like to have my hand open, but just pushing them out.
It's very much like defending in basketball. You can't hold your opponent, but you should be in their way to prevent shots on goal or passes. (Of course, with the exception of having to honor their free pass after a foul)
i play waterpolo and some of this is incorrect. if someone fouls you outside five metres you are allowed to shoot . the thing about being “live” is just madeup as ive never heard or used that
We talk about the 5 Meter Rule at the end of the video. If someone fouls you outside of 5 Meters you can shoot the ball if you do it in one motion and without a delay. Inside 5 Meters, however, if you get fouled you cannot shoot the ball.
This is outdated. Please update with current rules. You have to pop the ball to get live or pass quickly. And now it’s an outside the 6m for direct shot, not 5m
We have a playlist called New Rules 2020, which covers all the rule changes from ruclips.net/p/PLiz5_CgAU4m2bHWqkqdxfzir84PzZO8U0 You are correct, the getting live and 5m has changed but everything else is still valid.

Reginald Camacho wait for the ref to put his hand down then press him
@Yung Lean I think if the person plays the ball then u can go and press them but if it's been more than 3 seconds it should be a turn over

Hope that helps!
what is temperature of the water in waterpolo
It's usually warm in winter.
Can you up date this one and have the two meter player facing the incoming ball?
Thanks.
*Keep in mind, new rules state that if the player "plays" the ball, they are aloud to attack again
Yes, that’s correct, if the offensive player puts the ball into play, the defense can attack and guard again as usual.
when you get fouled outside the 5m line can you pass instead of taking a shot?

So play aggressively on the shooter ?
I'm not sure what you're asking, can you be more specific?
@@Shaquatics so are we supposed to have contact with the person with the ball, I always thought you weren’t really supposed to grab them
