Almost looks like a BC trail! Id say the rock exposure is mostly due to rainfall. The trail is exposed more now with no greenery or roots to protect it as opposed to regular forest floor that slows erosion. Thats also why its always worse on hills where erosion happens more rapidly (also more wheel spin) Thats pretty much all we have here in BC:) Are you going to check out their American trails sometime?
@jordancaleb5790 we have went to West Virginia the past 3 April's/May actually to ride the Hatfield Mccoy trails and love it. Michigan is on my bucket list aswell
