    For a friend.
I have to say there was a time when I thought this is probably the hardest song I’ve ever learned to play, which is funny because technically speaking it’s not that difficult and fairly straightforward. But there’s so many different layers of guitars, “hidden” notes, and slight variations of things on this song that it’s kind of overwhelming.
To mitigate this for myself I focused on the three main guitars that are most distinguishable in the song (the clean riff on the verses that’s also strummed at certain spots, the chorus riff, and the solo at the end of the chorus riff) and didn’t bother about the other parts that, for the most part, get drowned out by everything else. This was certainly a challenge but it was fun to tackle.

No disrespect but as a guitarist, I think the A and D strings need a little tuning

@@MyJazzyMac It probably was a little out of tune. Also my recording method at the time wasn’t great, so the quality of the recordings was pretty bad. It’s a combination of both. I plan to redo this song at some point with better software
