This is how you inspire people to travel. I agree that travel vlogging is a thing but filmmaking with storytelling embedded into each frames is another game. Kudos to the team which put this story together. Every place has a story. I search for the story everywhere I go. We need more story tellers in local communities so that the visitors feel the place when they spend time there

The temple is harldy 1 km away from home and used to go there too but till now i haven't noticed the dutch language in that bell. 🥰

This video made my day....that little boy to that gentlemen i feel like thats me.Varkala a mysterious place.My Native.I born , I Lived and I Living My life in the shores of these historical beach .I have a gud connection with this ancient temple. I Have been hearing this stories from my childhood from my father and grandma.From that time it was my dream to explore these stories to todays realities. 28 years gone in my life ,Now i have seen this beautiful description video about Our varkala.One day i will do my own description about our varkala.Thankq For this wonderful video.🥰🤗

I remember listening to this narration of finding the Dutch ship underwater by Robert Panippilla himself during my research days. I have mentioned about this episode in my PhD thesis too. When I started watching this promotional video, somewhere it rang a bell , but it's only in the end I realised it's the exact same legend that I was closely dealing with during my research. Such a thrilling experience to see it being visually represented and brilliantly done. Hats off to the team behind this. Looking forward to more of such creative reproductions of legends and folktales for promoting Kerala culture and heritage. All the best Kerala Tourism Department! Lots of Love. ❤❤❤

The video leaves me to visit The Varkala Janardhana Temple, Dutch Bell...and of course the Dutch Wreck ( even though the third one is difficult to fulfil )...it thrives me to learn at least an Open Water Course....to get into the sea more....to be more connected...to bond with her, know her...adore her...

@@keralatourism Dear team, I request you to kindly inform authorities that there is no proper waste disposal options in and around Kovalam area. Since I am staying there, I know the exact situation on the ground. Even foreigners are complaining about this. Anti social elements are throwing garbages, which includes chicken waste, sanitary napkins, glass , bottles etc all around our beautiful Kovalam area. Especially on the newly constructed byroads. Police or security cams are not available and the authorities are not at all interested in taking action against them. We can't even go for morning walks, nor cycle through those roads. The smell is soo nasty and street dogs are everywhere, most of them are violent .. This is the ground reality. After 10, 98% of the shops won't open, and we can't even go to beach, police will stop and question is as if we are like terrorists. Coming to beach, Toilet facilities and shower facilities are not there, we have to depend on hotels near beach, which is very expensive for common people. Street light never lights ;) . The contractors make money reparing it for ever :D . Overall Kovalam Beach , one of the best in the world, is ruining and rotting away due to lack of planning and lobbies around there, meanwhile Varkala is doing good compared to Kovalam.
