In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
Great talk Jepchumba. Incidentally, my brother and I are producing a science fiction comic with African heroes and settings of our own called Outcasts of Jupiter. We have a Kickstarter up launching on April 8th at 8 am PDT.
Remarkable lady! Congratulations on launch! Your generation is making Africa proud again!

@@irenedavo3768 No but I just subscribed. Thanks!
Fantastic talk Jepchumba!
Such a beautiful person
We are proud
Thank you
great talk👍
I think the title of this talk is more of, "My love and pride for Africa". I thought I was going to listen to a self-help or business talk. It's interesting, but the title should be more telling of the content. It's like reading a title, "Snow White", but the story is about a love for fairy tales.
No because objectively this doesn't relate to a business talk. Asking why is very vague
Do you watch Jim Nduruchi
Wow, that was cool!!
Very inspiring

AS A SOUND PERSON...please do not wear clicki things or at least not near the mike...(I think it is the earring and the mike it is DISTRACTING...but that is the sound persons fault...because they are recording...)
Cannot hear it?
@@irenedavo3768 Distracting, but three years Laterrr as I listen Again it might have been her earrings clicking against the mike? but yes I hear it...
all i focussed on was her earring bashing against the mic !!
It's annoying , but I could follow her story.
I thought she is from the Xhosa tribe..
El Chefe she is from Kenya. Xhosa is in South Africa. I hope you know the difference
Hi sylvia, thanks for you're response. I know the difference. I was only joking...
--I hope you do you know the difference--
El Chefe ooh I get the joke.
