To be fair Millwall came wanting to win. With Leeds having 10 changes in the team it was always going to be a struggle to get anything out of it. The FA Cup has long lost its magic for many clubs which is really sad compared to how much of a prize it once was. The real money for football clubs comes from league position and the lure of the promised land (ie. Premier League)
Millwall are 4 points off the playoffs but did we field a weakened side? No. And we have an away game at Plymouth in 4 days time and a home game against West Brom 3 days after that, yet that was pretty much our usual starting 11 out there today. If we can do it, then why couldn’t Leeds field their strongest side? Clubs like yours do yourself and the FA Cup no favours when you arrogantly field a weakened side. We pretty much bossed you in both halves and thoroughly deserved the win. And that was never a penalty! Great vlog to begin with, but where were all the shots of your fans looking shell shocked after the game? And where was your full time review?
