I think the main problem with all games is the players doesnt matter how many sifferent things u try to do if ppl will always find metas and easiest ways to win
You in the park but you haven’t started digging yet, the problem is that everybody wants to be the best but not putting in real effort to do so. Balance and other complaints should be left up to the ppl who are willing to go make all these thousands of dollars they are giving out instead of casual players complaining, another issue all the balance and meta don’t matter because the casual will listen to their favorite streamer, RUclipsr or player issue with that no one is enjoying the games anymore and it’s not because they are bad. It’s because everybody spend so much time playing tellaphone and he say she say dragging ppl away from a character or game they like but follow the pack like pups. A lot of ppl I have gamed with express they don’t play story they head something was bad without experiencing the product and we have what we have now. Not just fighting games but all genres. It’s too many ppl looking for the bad but miss soooo much good. Example gothem knights has its problems very small at that but because it’s not Arkham or Batman it’s talked down on but for what it is it’s fun, mk1 is ok but it’s not a lot to do but still it’s fun there’s not a lot of bad games out here but if you look for it it’s there and the negative mindset developed by everyone made it way too easy to over look the good. Demon slayer was another good one but it’s lifetime didn’t last like it should which is from arena fatigue not so much as being bad it’s a lot to go into this conversation but all ends with ppl not thinking for themselves. There’s also the fact that after a few months with a game casual players not the ones getting paid but the ones sitting at home cry about new dlc or a new game all together. Human development can’t keep up with social media it takes years and millions to get these things and customers bashing the product not only increases the chance of not getting a sequel, but also risk ending a franchise altogether. Instead of acting like children ppl have to give things a chance with their eyes not just the eyes of someone else

I honestly like that we aren't getting massive game-changing patches every 4 months. Got sick of coming back to a fighting game that feels like it recently came out and literally half the game is different. Like, not a little bit "you deal more or less damage per combo" type of different. Its like relearning the whole game you have 400 hours in. Its coming back to DBFZ one day and Goku Black can't do his divekick combos. Then dropping him for Zamasu. Then in less than a year, those combos are back, nerfed, too bad you spent half a year playing Zamasu. Oh now they hit Gohan too, great those combos are gone. Fine, I'll swap in Vegito Blue... hmmm a nerf to his meter gen and combo ability... Goku Blue it is! 2 months later, Goku Blue can't do his kick combos, damn. Back to Black? No wait, Black doesn't do those combos they're bad, Zamasu? Alright. In the next patch Zamasu could no longer hit purple balls after his purple slash or vice versa. Guess I'm dropping him too??? All those combos have been put back as of this most recent patch. I'm glad I stopped playing until the yearly patches.
