Hey everyone! Please let me know how you like this new reaction approach! I'm taking my guitar and trying to play along or figure things out on the go. By doing it this way, the entire video is much less scripted and should feel more natural overall!

How dare Chris not talk about the lyrics *insert angry inkling here*! One thing I love about three wishes is how the writers made the voice come from different sides when you listen with headphones. Sad that splatoon 3 is almost over, but can’t wait for Splatoon 4 though.

Three Wishes is my new number one song in Splatoon 3 and it is perfect for The Grand Festival!
The song is not only suitable for the event but honestly gave me so much nostalgia even outside Splatoon. Reminds me of the collab songs Kasai Hardcore did with many popular edm artists, where basically there is a base melody and each artist in the collab gets their own take on how to expand that tune. This song really brought me back to my rhythm game days in such an unexpected way and I love it for that
your ability to recognize the chords almost instantly as the song plays when youve never heard it before baffles me. god fuck i want to learn this on the bass now, its such a beautiful tune.
@@riji_monogatari I don't have perfect pitch so I did listen to the first few seconds so I can figure out the very first chord! But yeah, after a while you start to hear the chords / chord functions and can play along, unless something super unexpected happens!
I think the riff that played during the Off the Hook section was referencing Were so Back.

I really like this "active reaction" approach because I enjoy VGM music reactions but a lot of the time people just sit there (which has its own charm), but so does this! I also like how you pause the music at good parts for analysis instead of at parts that really take you out of the song

I haven't seen anyone else notice this but has anyone noticed that during a part in the deep cut section they use some instruments that arent in any other part of the song and are used in a way here that is only found in one other song in the game to my knowledge, daybreaker. Idk i thought it was a nice touch

Something i would love from your videos is a little added detail of playing a sound bite of a song if you mention it. It feels a bit like a tease to just be told the name and then have the rest left for your memory or imagination. Love your videos regardless 🌟
