As someone who works with mentally challenged kids, that first story about Tom really hit different. As soon as they said he had autism my heart broke and instantly knew. I’m so glad it all ended in a good way for Tom ♥️

That is so messed up
My brother has severe autism so the first story I can kinda normalize. He follows routines like his everyday life because that’s just how it works for those people. My brother also has tics, but it’s not as bad. He’s nonverbal so sometimes it’s hard to know what he wants and he usually makes sounds for his emotions since he can’t talk! My brother is a very strong guy and got so strong so my family had to put him in a special hospital to help him! He does not hurt anybody unless they hurt him or make him really upset. We have to watch arguing and yelling infront of him because he’s sensitive. He really love cartoons because he’s been watching them since he was little, it makes him so happy! He’s really attached to his family so he can get very anxious around others when they try to take him away from us. We visit him every month and I’m actually going to see him in 2 days for his birthday!
