Wonderful music. Your devotion to norse music and culture is very inspiring. I know you have downloads on soundcloud but i would deeply enjoy owning the rest. You should definately compose an anthology; i would pay for such a gem. Keep up the great work and i will always be listening.
Well, Yes and no. But moreso towards yes. Old Norse, as we know it in the ancient texts like the Poetic Edda etc , is tecnically a "dead language" - yet it isn't at the same time, because the language of Iceland is a form of Old Norse only minutely evolved. People who are native to the Icelandic language can read Old Norse. So, we can learn Icelandic and cross-study the Old Norse texts - and there we can learn Old Norse. :) Heilsa

Thank you very much :) glad you enjoy
Great! I've been seeking this kind of song. This is amazing!
:) Thanks. Check out Parts II and III of Hymiskvida. I am also working on turning Vegtamskvida (Badlrs Draumar) into a song, also..
the vocals caught me off guard through my headphones and i thought someone was behind me LOL NEAR HEART ATTACK XD
I know it would be a lot more work, but is there an english translation for this? Thanks so much for putting this all together!
I made a verse translation of this a long time ago. I can put that up for you ;)
