- Last year, composer/lyricist Daniel Curtis reached out to me to perform a song that he’d written for “World Mental Health Day 2021,” with the goal of helping to bring more awareness to this important topic.
The video is being played on billboards all around the world in places like Times Square and Piccadilly Circus, and features a collaboration of actors, athletes, broadcasters, and musicians (Paul McCartney, Nathan Lane, Olivia Colman, Dame Judi Dench, Rod Stewart, Andrew Zimmern, Kei Nishikori, Shane Warne, Jannik Sinner, and Holly Willoughby).
Thank you, Daniel, for asking me to be part of this project, especially in a time when it’s needed more than ever!

Great Song, Great Messages, Outstanding Vocal. 1 in 3 People will experience Mental Illness in their lives, the best thing to help someone, is to talk to and be there when someone is suffering, this may not always be easy as they may not be themselves, thats part of the problem, you have to help them find that person again.

Thank you for this video. Mental Health is not talked about enough. There are thousands maybe even millions of people that deal with mental health issues ranging from depression to anxiety to Autism to other things that they just feel like their brain is not right so this video is very much needed

Love the song & Marc's voice, but the collaboration of actors pulls me out of the song. It's choppy, disturbing, and does not feel like a part of the song. It is like a bad interruption.

Thank you, Marc! I lost my wife a year ago September, to COVID. It was just less than three weeks past her 38th birthday and only four days after our 18th wedding anniversary. She was disabled and I was her full-time, in-home caregiver for the last 14 1/2 years of her life. Some of her disabilities were psych-related, due to abuse she suffered as a child. Even with everything she went through every single day, she never stopped fighting and doing everything in her power to get better. She was the strongest person I've ever known. Our two teenagers will never again have the secure, intact family home in which we both desperately wanted them to grow up. We all miss her so very much. I'm the luckiest man in the world to have had almost 19 years with her. Still, even after almost 13 months, I still cry every day, for her loss and the crippling emptiness I feel without her.
Everyone, give all the support you can to those you love who have mental health issues. Lend them your strength when they struggle. Never stop telling them how strong and how amazing they are. Help make every day the best it can be for them.
I’m so sorry about your loss. My husband suffers from mental health issues and has to be hospitalized from time to time, but I can’t imagine my life without him. Hugs my friend….
