I've listened to literally dozens of ppl play this song both online and off, and this is hands-down the best I've ever heard. Dare I say it almost sounds better than even Michael Nyman himself playing it live. Stunning - truly.

Totally agree, I've listened to dozens as well and this is my favourite. Much better than Michael Nyman's in my opinion, I don't think he is a great and passionate pianist (which is totally fine and normal, his gift is as a composer).

Beautiful delicate rendition, as emotionally full as Nyman's own playing, just not as forceful nor demanding. I love watching her hands as she plays

This is my favorite cover of my favorite music.You didn't just play it well,you took the melody and made it feel somehow different from the original.This is a completely more difficult thing to do.The way you play makes me feel like my soul is burning in silence."Dance of lost desires" is the name I would give to this cover if there wasn't a name already.

By far my favorite performance of this song on youtube. I've seen them all and some many times, but this is perfect in my eyes (or ears). First of all, I wish everyone that played it on keyboard would learn to patch thru to their comp or recording device. It makes such a better recording. Second, you have great control, jumps (without added velocity), and make distinguishing the parts with the right amount of passion\emphasis, look all too easy. I can only hope to learn to play it half as good. I'm hoping to get a Korg Krome soon, or maybe the yamaha moxf8 (mainly for their piano sounds). If you have any experience with either, I'd love to hear your opinion. Keep up the great vids!
