+Vu Vuong Kyle, I always listen to your music and you have to know that you play so good piano. I had learned many many things from you and I love to play piano
This is the best version I've heard. My father's death was so unexpected. He was very Ill, more than he knew. Was rushed to the hospital and in a coma within a few days. Dead in less than a week. I made it home just in time to see him the last day he was awake. I chose this song for his memorial service.
This song just strikes a chord in my heart and makes it hurt every time I listen to it. But not in a bad way.. Its just harder to explain is all. I'd like it to be played at my funeral I think.
I see it, that moment where your knee deep in and you start moving on your own accord because you can feel the music connect with your soul and you don't need and piece of paper telling you how to make music. I love the connection and it gives me goosebumps whenever I'm playing jazz on my tenor saxophone or playing on the piano. It's like you've made a friend and you don't see the people watching you, wouldn't want to be anywhere else because your heartbeat is literally in rythme with the music.
I made this HUGE mistake and I fell asleep listening to this song and I woke up into a limbo... I lived there for 242years which in real life is 10 hours... I thought the world I was in was real... I created a huge world and all these memories were just a dream... 242 years , I remember every single year and now it was all a dream...
I believe it’s pages 1 and 4 of the arrangement. I’ve learned this song and still use those sheets - the hard parts I’ve played so many times that they’re muscle memory but the slow easy parts I still need to read or I’ll forget.
As I’m in the final moments with my grandma as she passes... I’m drawn to this song. Hopefully you see this Kyle, I’ve been listening to your music for many years now. You’re the reason I love piano and your emotion is what’s helping me FEEL in these last beautiful moments with my loved grandmother. Thank you.
Best wishes to you and your grandmother. Even if she has left this world, know that everything will be alright and she’s probably smiling at you from heaven
Hey Kyle, This is the first time that I have ever commented on a RUclips video, but I find your music and the passion with which you play so moving that I just had to. So here it goes. Every cover/track I listen to from you leaves me utterly speechless. Without a doubt, you have inspired so many people in your life, including me. I just hope that, even with the growing number of fans you have, you will always remember the impact you can have on every individual person who listens to your incredible music. Please keep up the amazing work and I hope this passion of your's will keep you happy for many years to come. Cheers, Phil
This made me falling in love with playing the piano even more. I've finally managed to be satisfied about my way playing your piece "time", which I thought, had to be perfect. Today, playing it in front of my class, despite being all shaky, it has been the best feeling ever. I cant even remember in detail, because i was so concentrated and that made me realize that it's not about perfection,"it could be better" but about doing what I love. And iam sooooo grateful that I found your video on RUclips. The second I watched u play, I couldn't help but wanting to play it one day too. I'am so happy I did this today and I just thought to share it with you:)!!
This is THE definitive rendition of this song. The austerity of a piano solo is emblematic of Cobb's isolation, it starts measured and melancholy then builds with heroic intention before descending into a disjointed, desperate frenzy that exits into quiet exhaustion... such a perfect encapsulation of Cobb's character arc and mental instability. Bravo...
kylelandry I couldn't thank you enough for making this video. Every day I would sit down and look at my piano, with no idea what to play. I would press a few keys, shut down the cover, and step away. I had no motivation, no inspiration to play anything and was ready to give up everything I had learnt over the past 10 years of playing. But this piece - it gave me hope. I began playing the first few measures, and realised it was actually easier than I thought to learn such an amazing piece. So I carried on. Eventually I reached what I though was the hardest part of this piece, and before I would have thought this section impossible. But watching you play had given me motivation to carry on. I smashed this piece about a week ago, and am now so motivated to play I can sit at my piano stool for hours just learning anything (still playing this song too!). I want you to know how much of an inspiration you are to your fans, and a massive thank you for renewing my interest in such a wonderful instrument, and allowing me to build my great talent further into my life. Seriously. Thank you.
jackcarr45 Wow man, as a musician myself your story has inspired me to become a better musician and to not give up when music gets hard and makes my fingers sore. Truly I appreciate your comment and I hope you never give up your piano.
RodzChris I'm glad I helped. I probably don't have as much motivation as you - I'm not a musician strictly speaking, I just play solo piano for fun in my spare time - but I'm working on it. It's good to see someone taking advice from something I've said that means so much to me. Keep working, practise makes perfect!
When I saw "Time" in my side window I had to check it out immediately. Am I so glad I did. Applause. What an amazing performance of an already wonderful song. You just made it Timeless.
I've never had a piano lesson but I wanted to learn how so I learnt how to play the piano by self teaching now my family and friends are amazed by my skill. I believe that If you have the right mind set you can do anything. Keep it up :)
Hi Jess, i am now in the same situation was you 2 years ago. im 35 and i am passionate about piano and i wanna learn but by myself because i dont have money for the lessons. i am curious how you are at this moment playing piano. ;)
If you find a really good music teacher, they will teach you music theory and you will learn a lot in a year. If they offer music exams, I say go for it. I learnt a lot at 12, and at 31 have started playing again.
It's fantastic that you took up piano. My mother is in her golden years, and to keep her brain active and busy, she took up piano lessons, vocal lessons, and joined the local choir. It makes me happy since music is such a beautiful part of the human experience.
It's been six years now, Kyle. Six years since you uploade this masterpiece, and still every time I hear it, I get goosebumps. Thank you for your music. Thank you for being you.
^ I was just gonna reply “it’s been 5 years since this ‘it’s been six years’ comment and I don’t want to do the math” thanks for doing it for me 💔 I’m getting old
I love how the song becomes gradually more complicated as time moves on. Then slows down to a powerful fulfilling ending that transcends itself and then lives in your heart. The piece has a sort of poetic repeat that will always continue in a different form that is more or less intense. Coming to the conclusion that it's a metaphor for our daily struggle, euphoria, and our encounters with each other culminating into an emotional rollercoaster of a song.
+Cano Manuel “Gonzrule” Gonzaga Ok, no offense... But it is kind of hard to imagine you (if that is you in your profile pic) crying. I'm sorry, I had to. But hope you felt better.
Impeccable timing. Such passion which makes this piece come alive. The way you play this sounds like it actually has feelings and means something...which is what piano playing is all about. It means something, emotionally, personally. That’s it.
My goal in life is to someday get good enough to play one of kyles arrangements. Seems like an reasonable goal for a guy who started to play the piano with 26 years of age.
+Ryodakun dont give up! well im sitting like half an year now on this piece and didnt Come forward, im stuck at the many fast keys at the Main part but I dont give up :)
Man... this is.. poignant. I didn't even realize I had started tearing up at work listening to this until a coworker came by and asked me if I was okay. This is the kind of music that speaks to your soul.

+StayBehindTheGun Your honesty is the very much appreciated. I've been hurt too. But I encourage you to maybe pick up piano again, give it a chance to heal your pain. Else, it's hard to move on. And again, I am a nobody. If avoiding hasn't really been working, maybe it's time to face it? Anyhow, be encouraged. You will be or you already are a better father for you child/ children. :)
+StayBehindTheGun The internet is EXACTLY where you need to post this.. You just don't know who you're relating to and resonating with.. We all have our "story".. Well, most of us.. Anyways, music, in all its forms, is a way for people to express, to convey and tell their story.. It's supposed to remind you of times past.. Good and bad.. As well as be inspiring..
Was browsing the net with your music playing in the background, then i forgot. while reading through a bunch of articles, I was wondering why my heart suddenly felt heavy, why I felt sadder when I was reading something pretty funny. Then, I realized I was listening to your music. YOU ARE THE BOMB.
Wow, I *need* to learn how to play this now. How gorgeous, Zimmerman's music never fails to impress me. Such a skilled pianist too, you definitely do it justice!
Oh my God. So much emotion, I could feel how the intensity was waving from soft to strong. I hope one day I can do something like this but I am glad I can enjoy it from here. Amazing
I think this is also the first time I have ever commented on a youtube video. You're playing is the first piece that has brought me to tears for years. Your raw emotion is contagious my friend. Keep it up
I listened to this few months ago, because I wasn’t able to play it this way like you do. But today, I finally achieved my goal, I can finally play it on my own. Thank you for the inspiration❤️
You are absolutely amazing. I discovered you two days ago and can't stop listening. I've listened to Time about 15 times straight. It's great studying music. Have you ever considered any Lost songs? Life and Death? Dharmacide? The Ben Linus theme is beautiful and I can imagine you doing a lot with it. Plus there are no excellent piano versions of it I can find. Simple chords, lots of possibility. Thank you for sharing your brilliant work and talent.
A few days ago I heard this version and got goosebumps instantly. Today I bought the sheet music. My dream is to be able to play this song one day :) Thank you so much for that!
My Eyes are Leaking. Passion! You know it when you hear it. I play this video everyday. Thank you Kyle for sharing your heart with us. We love your videos. Pls keep them coming.
+Jon “Broot” A Silly question. Talent - Those who learn the game fast, yet fail to utilize those skills. Hard Work - Those we are determined to perfect their craft, despite the fact they may have had a tougher difficulty in the beginning.
+kylelandry I was doing a livestream on Twitch and used this song for a League chest opening. I got Goal Keeper Maokai. Thanks for great arrangement lol.
+kylelandry I'm a new sub with a few years of experience, how long have you been playing piano something like this would take me a month or 2 to learn possibly more, how did it take you? sorry for all the questions just curious
I was 8 years old when I got my first keyboard from my grandparents. That was when I first took up an interest in piano and even though it faded through time, now at 18 years of age I'm learning piano in full swing. I play on my Grand piano now, and i can't wait to learn this song fully. 😍 Outstanding performance sir!
I have waited a few years now to say this. I have finally mastered this piece flawlessly and am going to play it on my wedding. Thank you Kyle :)
Good job to you !
Awesome! Hoping to learn this as my next piece!
Yes, I have practise it 7 weeks and now the time has been reached: I can play it! :D
+Vu Vuong Kyle, I always listen to your music and you have to know that you play so good piano. I had learned many many things from you and I love to play piano

i'm learning now:)

You're a beautiful soul, and I'm sure your father would be very thankful to know you care so much
I'm sorry to hear this. My condolences. May his Soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
Sound quality of this video = astounding.

Nice outfit. I'm glad you finally did the landry.
Dang mate!
You did landry? I think a lot of youtube-girls must envy you.
salt
For some reason his outfit and surroundings made me think he looked Amish…
ba dum tss
This song just strikes a chord in my heart and makes it hurt every time I listen to it. But not in a bad way.. Its just harder to explain is all. I'd like it to be played at my funeral I think.
Same.it has some type of emotion in it and I just close my eyes and see a beautifully sad picture.
Hans Zimmer power :)
It's powerful. Like a wave... A big wave

Bethany Courtney yes it's a wave..not a mountain.
I don't fear death, I fear time
Totally read this in Morgan Freeman's voice.
Violeur !!!!
Thank you Morgan.
Very cool
@Daniel Morrison time does not end. Time is unlimited. Even when the sun burns out, time will still go on.
Now youtube has audio comments

Is that a quote from a movie or something?
nope i thought about it
Pretty nice actually, kinda reminds me of Vanilla Sky.
;)
Reminds me of Inception movie.
I like how the 2 sheets he's "reading" are like a thousand times too simplified.
I believe it’s pages 1 and 4 of the arrangement. I’ve learned this song and still use those sheets - the hard parts I’ve played so many times that they’re muscle memory but the slow easy parts I still need to read or I’ll forget.
Its like music inception.
Maybe the sheets are just for show
Flawlessly awesome.
Flawsome

+Philippe Côté he is fucking great right?
feciil
Doesn't your last name mean on the outside of in french or something? A cote de I think.
Côté : side
À côté de : Next to, to the side of
Fun fact : Landry is also a french name
* Stutters in piano *
You can tell the passion he has for music when he plays, I love it.

I see so many mean comments on a really well-done piece for no or really stupid reasons. Just appreciate this dang masterpiece.

kylelandry I want to change the world by playing the piano
When someone falls into a trance while playing music, that means they know it inside and out of the mind and body
Well, he needs the kick
You can’t play piano without emotion and just overall the perfect touch. This song and pianist just goes to show.
When I saw "Time" in my side window I had to check it out immediately. Am I so glad I did. Applause. What an amazing performance of an already wonderful song. You just made it Timeless.

GameMinus You play it really well. I hate it when people judge my by how I look.
+Cano Manuel “Gonzrule” Gonzaga because you related this song to your past memories and that is what the music is all about pal.
Impeccable timing. Such passion which makes this piece come alive. The way you play this sounds like it actually has feelings and means something...which is what piano playing is all about. It means something, emotionally, personally. That’s it.
Simply epic and brilliantly played. After so many years it is still one of the most beautiful versions.
My goal in life is to someday get good enough to play one of kyles arrangements. Seems like an reasonable goal for a guy who started to play the piano with 26 years of age.
You can still easy master playing
Dunno about the easy part but I am working on the Piano every day and I'm very devout. Thank you.
+Ryodakun dont give up! well im sitting like half an year now on this piece and didnt Come forward, im stuck at the many fast keys at the Main part but I dont give up :)
I'm still playing with an beginner book. Just getting started on half notes. I have a long long road ahead of me. But yeah I won't give up, thanks.
How old is he now?
same my dream is to learn hoe to play the piano, but sometimes i think its to late 'cause i'm 18 and it makes me sad. :(
I’ve come to the conclusion that the sheet music in front of him is for show. Dude memorized this piece. Bravo 👏
kyle landry, the human synthesia
Im always seeing this synthesia-vids and think to myself: "Who in the 7 hells and Heavens should ever play this". An then i came across his channel.
benjamin bongartz anyone can play synthesias but obviously go through it slowly if the song is hard
hardly ever heard such a nice, light sound of an acoustic piano
Song gets me everytime ...
Man... this is.. poignant. I didn't even realize I had started tearing up at work listening to this until a coworker came by and asked me if I was okay. This is the kind of music that speaks to your soul.
This cuts so deep. My father was a very wealthy criminal defense attorney, and up until I was 8 years old I was a boy who loved to play the piano. Well we all know how the story goes, abuse, adultery, addiction, and an eventual decline of my father's status from Attorney at Law to Disbarred Fuckup who left a broken home and mom to clean up the ashes. I turned so angry, violent. I never thought about what could have been. Now that I have children of my own, It's hard not to sit and think back on what living could've been like had my father cared to invest a little effort into what he started. Now I try and be a better father than he was, and most days I avoid the sounds of piano keys and the thoughts that come with it.
I know the internet isn't the place to post this, and I know I'll probably get blasted for it. I've honestly never put it into words, or letters. This was just for my own personal growth I suppose.
don't worry , nobody will blame you for it :)
but i which you and your childs a good live without the problems , you and your dad had ...
+StayBehindTheGun Your honesty is the very much appreciated. I've been hurt too. But I encourage you to maybe pick up piano again, give it a chance to heal your pain. Else, it's hard to move on.

@Reborn Karma I guess you're right,probably got confused with a different cover (:
Nadav Zeira * :)
jonas,jimbo,jeremi Ruiz What ?
The resonance of the lower chords is unbelievable on this grand piano! Bravo!
He doesn't really use those sheets, does he?
I looked at the sheets, he doesn't really use them there, but it's because he doesn't need them, he playing it like the sheet without looking at them
+Daniel • Yes he does. He improvises out from what he reads on the sheets, and they're there to keep him on track, and so it's all flowing. :-)
He reads the sheets with his mind 0.o'

I wish I could play something as complex and beautiful as this. Truly a wonderful rendition of this masterpiece, Kyle.
this is medium, no hard .-.
For someone like me, who can barely play twinkle twinkle little star, this is difficult enough.
Of course it is difficult to play twinkle twinkle little start have you even listened to the full version of that song.?
you mean the mozart variations?
yes,That is what i was getting at
Still coming back to this after 7 years. Kyle deserves at least 10x more views on this! Epic!

I have always liked listening to piano. Now, i have decided. I will learn to play it. I will...
Jajajaja really?
yee
Yeah man, you should! Piano is one of the greatest instruments in my eyes. You can so much with it :D
And, what's the status now?
@@bobbyundercover4905 I was about to ask the same thing
I listened to this few months ago, because I wasn’t able to play it this way like you do. But today, I finally achieved my goal, I can finally play it on my own. Thank you for the inspiration❤️
Incrível... lindo!

"On that day, humanity received a grim reminder. The terror of being ruled by Them. The humiliation of being kept in a cage... "
yesyesyesyesyes
This has nothing to do with that.
But it certainly fits the feel of everything that happened to the main characters and fits the setting of the story.
😐 damn those horrifying feels are back
A few days ago I heard this version and got goosebumps instantly. Today I bought the sheet music. My dream is to be able to play this song one day :) Thank you so much for that!
I Wish i had the skill to play something like this.... Maybe in Time (Ha.... ha... Ha. So punny.).
+aftershock2013 Me too. Nice pun btw :P
You'll be fine, I'm a autodidact on piano and I'm able to play the first sheet
same lol
Go learn it then, stop wishing and do it.
Your a fool for this one Kyle! Fantastic!!
Music is more closely tied to us than we have realized so far..
I seriously doubt if anyone could ever top this cover of “Inception Time”.
This is mesmerizing. Kyle you are simply “ The Best “
Don't you want to take a leap of faith? Or become an old man... filled with regret... waiting to die alone...
Wonderful Mason & Hamlin sound~!
RIP Zyzz
Forever Mirin
do you even lift
i lift for a living
My Eyes are Leaking. Passion! You know it when you hear it. I play this video everyday. Thank you Kyle for sharing your heart with us. We love your videos. Pls keep them coming.
Playing this tomorrow at my piano teachers funeral..
I wish I could play piano as well as him
+신정윤 Hard work beats talent
+Kai ...if talent doesn't work hard
So get up and play a piano.
what do you consider hard work and what do you consider talent
+Jon “Broot” A Silly question. Talent - Those who learn the game fast, yet fail to utilize those skills.
Hard Work - Those we are determined to perfect their craft, despite the fact they may have had a tougher difficulty in the beginning.
Amazing feeling at the intro into a lovely buildup! I mean, holy *** you are talented!
That's hard work not talent
There's few things I'm blown away by each time I come back to. This is one of them. Stunning work.
this dude would kill at flashflashrevolution

+DanJS - Roguer ?
+kylelandry I was doing a livestream on Twitch and used this song for a League chest opening. I got Goal Keeper Maokai. Thanks for great arrangement lol.
+kylelandry I'm a new sub with a few years of experience, how long have you been playing piano something like this would take me a month or 2 to learn possibly more, how did it take you? sorry for all the questions just curious
he's literally just following the same chord progression whilst adding improvisation, he most likely did this with next to no planning
Do you do any classical pieces? I'd like to hear a Chopin piece from you. Fantasie Impromptu is one of my favorites, but I can't play it yet.
mason and hamlin is really OP, best piano brand ever?
Yamaha ;)
Ulrich Lutschmoeis Steinwey.
I just uploaded my own cover of Kyle Landry's "Time" on piano. If you may, check it out. Thanks
Such a nice interpretation, dude.
I watched it, and it was quite amazing cover! Nice job!
Cummed.
Jesus Christ Who did you kill to get that username?
Nice job bro.
Thanks for taking me to another place by just playing this so perfectly.
someone should capture a screenshot of this with a slow shutter speed just to see how much his hands move around in a matter of seconds.
Excuse me, I'm sorry but I have to go to the emergency room. My jaw hit the floor too hard and it shattered... "it" being both my jaw and the floor...
fucking brilliant mate. you play this beautiful piece with lots of feeling
I was 8 years old when I got my first keyboard from my grandparents. That was when I first took up an interest in piano and even though it faded through time, now at 18 years of age I'm learning piano in full swing. I play on my Grand piano now, and i can't wait to learn this song fully. 😍
Outstanding performance sir!
Pls upload a video, you playing The Fantasie Impromptu from Chopin to proof your skills. Can someone link me the sheets?
Laurids Radtke I have like 3-4 videos of me playing that ._.
thx for info
***** You're a big inspiration, your music moves people. Thank you for being so talented.
+Laurids Radtke Very useful site: imslp.org
They have nearly everything of composers that are dead for over 70 years.

When ur so good that you use the sheets for show.
Nah, he uses them to keep track of the melody. They're just for guidance.
