Such a great reminder to not let others' negativity drag us down. Understanding why someone might want to hurt us is the first step to rising above it

From the perspective of Zen and Buddhist teachings, if someone hates you and wants to see you suffer, it is not a reflection of who you are but rather a manifestation of their inner turmoil. In the scriptures, the Buddha taught that hatred can never be resolved by more hatred; it can only be dissolved through love and understanding. When someone seeks to harm you, it may be because they are suffering themselves, trapped by jealousy, ignorance, or past karmic influences. Instead of responding with resentment, approach them with compassion, seeing them as someone in need of healing.

No truer words or advice has ever been spoken. Always ask yourself from wence does the words spoken to you come from. You can then frame the idea as to whether you wish to respond or stay silent. Splashed mud on you comes from a careless driver not you and not in your control. Also those who remark on your dirtiness now are not in your control or deserving of a response. ✌️❤️
