Wow! That was so easy! I had been way over complicating things in my head when wondering how to hook these up. Now I'm ordering one, well I'll probably wait until the next sale and buy a couple pairs of mids/highs so I do not have to bother you all with such a small order and only Shipping this one bass knob. I really like this knob, it's nice.
I'm pretty sure that I already had them hooked up that way when I made this comment. I just wanted to see what people would say. But, I still have it hooked up this way and it works fine, as far as I know.
@@scottorsbon608 just came back from a drive and it was working lol I think maybe because I was using it without it being fully powered it might’ve glitched out or smt idk it’s all good now 😂🤷🏽♂️
I bought this bass knob few days ago. love it 👍but the front cover isn't as shiny like the one you have in this video. does the front cover have a thin protector film sticker thing on it that needs to be peel off to give it that shiny look.
Well, just installed this so I would have a remote bass know since my Taramps Smart 3k does not have one. Now my Crescendo S6 amp will not turn on, but my Taramps does just fine. I ran a jumper from the Taramps to the Crescendo on the remote wire and still nothing. Ran a jumper from positive to remote and amp turns on. Nothing changed other than the bass knob as far as wiring goes. My remote comes out of my dash and then I have it split right before the amps.
Im having a problem. I have mine wired just like yours but when i turn my car off the knob light stays on and so does the amp. I have 0v coming from remote of the radio but voltage coming from the blue to the amp.
Ok so does the power and ground go directly to the battery or to your radio harness wires? Does the on off switch turn the amp on and off? Will everything still turn off when I turn the car off?
What if my amp comes with a proprietary bass knob - but I want to use this one for on the fly turning off/on the amp and voltage monitor. Does this knob adjust gain the same way as the original bass knob? Is one better than the other?
I just brought one. Haven't hooked it up yet, but thinking about getting another for my yukon. Seems legit. But my question is i need to know the voltage reading from my amplifier, not head unit.
My ct bass knob is reading high voltage and say 16.2 any idea why it's saying that? I try using the adjustment knob but I can't turn it any further. When I check the voltage with a multimeter it's reading between 14.2 and 14.5
The directions are plain as day on the packaging how are y'all confused.....???!!! But anyway mine doesn't turn off my amp it just turns off the display of the bassknob
Garbage bass knob feels like it’s made of the cheapest plastic even South Africa wouldn’t use for manufacturing had 3 of them sent to me before one worked properly😂
You are the only one who showed how to actually hook up the bass knob.

So did you ever get it ?
Wait the ground and power goes to the battery?

Quick question, where are you grabbing your power from. What would be the easiest way please. Thank you
Power and ground are going to where? Can you just tap into the power and ground of the head unit?
Yes but I think it is best to run wires from amp power and ground to see exactly what voltage the amp is getting but you can use headunit power
How do you end up doing it I’m running it from my wavtech and it’s not working for me

Can you adjust the voltage reading to make sure it matches what the battery voltage reads
Great video!! Love the colored tape. Will be watching a lot more of your videos
Hello, so that thing lowers the bass only, if I connect to my TV to my Logitech surround sound will it do the same?

So if the bass knob is off is the amplifier off ?
Yes, you can do that.

What do I do for extra wire? It comes with super short ones
How can I connect bass knob if I only have factory stereo with no rca in back of head unit

I just splice mine into the power wires to the radio red and black and it worked
Where was this video a year ago lol I’m finally about to get this thing working correctly!
Do I need too hook it up to the head unit ?

Yes, you can use it and it will show your voltage as well. And this knob adjust gain the same way your original bass knob does.

Can I add this bassknob in stestom vulcan 3000? Will clipping light work?
Yes you can but it does not have clip indicator
I put my yellow and red together and it worked perfectly lol and blue to the radio remote should add a clipping light tho

Did you ever figure this out ? Have you tried using the adjustment screw on the size of the case ?
What kind of wire is that
unique
This is very cool

Makes not sence double blue to the amp makes no sence
