Karl Ove paid his dues, and now deserves all the praise for his realism and passion.

Even if the excerpt he read from Autumn would be the only thing he has ever written, he would have a firm place among the greatest writers of all times.

2 minutes in and I've paused it. I have to make myself a cup of tea for this one. May even light a joint on 20 minutes. I love Karl, he compelled me to read Proust. I've had a connection to Norway since I was 16. Then, by reading his books at 23 really made me proud to be alive. I was born in 91in Poole. That's who I am. But I feel I know Karl's world. He's given me his soul and I just understand his vibe. I would love to cover my own life in the way he and Marcel did. Im 25 now, and it gives me comfort to know I can enjoy my youth and will look back on it and create something out of it.

Bog Roast I've always been fascinated by Norway myself. I'm not sure where it was born in me, or when I became aware of it. it's some kind of deep dream image I've had in me for quite some time. how strange to hear someone else has had a similar experience.

Bog Roast What you wrote was so beautiful and moving. Your words here, "Bog Roast", you are the reason writers write and struggle with their craft, you are that all elusive imaginary reader we're always trying to summon, and obedient and silent and meek as "she" is, she is always there, so we always have a "secured" reader, imaginary as she is. Then, with time and luck, the book gets published, and here you are, real and alive, finding meaning in what was once nothing more than an illusion, a struggle within.

Dette er rommet jeg klatret i stigen, får å nå opp til en bok fra en drøm. "Wake up and shine!!" ... Det Knausgård skriver, leser og snakker om, er kollektive opplevelser fra livet, i våken tilstand. Gode bøker! Merci beaucoup
