Here’s my thoughts on d2 as a long time fan
Strongest points:
Buildcrafting
Gun feel
“Cool” factor
Raids / dungeons
Fashion
Weak points:
Balance (it’s not horrific just a bit annoying)
Lack of new maps for PvP
Content drought (but u only really experience that if you play it like a full time job)
100% agree with you on this! xD
This post hit me in the feels. I remember launch day for D2 and many of the subsequent raid releases. Such a great game
I think COD MW2 is experimenting with DMZ which is somewhat similar to loot n shoot and raids
But it just misses the mark heavily with how limited and temporary the rewards are. The skins for the top loot is meh especially with how easy it is to spoof it either by having a bro drop the gun for you or just hitting that dude with a car and driving off lol
Hype
Now talk about the endless useless grind
Yea the way they handle the grind sucks. But I'll take that over TDM or BR 1.8 million times with the only content being skins lol.
I actually think having linear or horizontal progression is a problem. But when you have to do the same exact thing loosing all you power every couple of months. It doesn't feel good and makes it feel pointless since we know it's all just gonna get taken away next season anyways. Makes it feel like a job rather than something to enjoy. But without horizontal progression we get the problem of having a very lack luster and absent of progress experience. Which can feel just as bad or even more pointless.
Not saying it's an easy fix on either end but yea both have it's ups and downs. Maybe I should make a video on this instead of leaving it in a comment lol
@@jonei I switched off D2 to Apex because their PvP balancing is a joke. At least on Apex I actually feel on controller they care about you. Tons of options to help us out against MnK but on D2 there's aim assist for MnK??? Why? Lmao idk I enjoy the dungeons and raids but PvP is in shambles
*Promosm* 🤩
Warframe.exe
when u play a 2nd genre of game and realize not every game has to be exactly the same 🤯🤯
I feel like Doom 95 was peak fps and everything after is just trying to emulate its glory.
I don't think i ever played it lol
It definitely was not.
