I have a tire shop. Been there 15 years. The only thing I can see this machine being useful for is low profile tires if it can even handle it. I would consider getting this machine if I could get rid of an employee but I don’t see the part where you can “walk away from it”. I also hired an employee that worked at a shop with one of these and he said no one used it.
The first tire has to be done step by step, then the remaining tires can be removed by walk away. During walk away mode the tech would be balancing the tire that is finished. It does low profile 100% I would say it wouldn't save time vs. A fast tire person, but it is consistent. Whether normal, low pro, run flat etc. Same time to change. Tire machine doesn't get tired. If scheduling cars could be tightened up as a result, maybe worth it. But most of my students report that the dealers don't have them. Or some do but many won't use since the training was not offered so I hear you. Not a rep, just a guy here.
Unfortunately this machine has serious reliability issues in my experience. Ours is throwing errors every few days and goes down at least 2x per month. Our Hunter tech doesn’t seem to be able to figure it out and makes excuses before leaving.
Um, just a suggestion Hunter; you might want to do a good deal more Beta testing before rolling out expensive new equipment to your customers. Those technicians in the background are working circles around this unfortunate soul. He was hung out to dry by 'too much lubricant' after advising to 'liberally lube' the beads before beginning the mounting process.
Lol I could have done that with rebuilding TPMS sensor in under 2 minutes on a manual machine. Cool for highly expensive assemblies but unnecessary for most applications.
It's just for show, no one who needs to pay their bills are going down this trench knowing what it is... where's the flame thrower reset button? And as always swamped by friendly chinese just waiting to go home and start copycating...
Una buena tarde .. es una maquina muy impresionante ..felicitaciones a los constructores de tan formidable maquina ..soy de Ecuador me gustaria saber el precio y como se la puede adquirir
Any real techs out there, how do u think this machine would hold up to a completely gone tire shredded to nothing. U guys know those ppl who drive on a flat for 10 miles to get o the shop and the rear bead is stuck on.
Just started at the cadillac dealer here, spent 3 minutes learning the machine, it operates 2x as fast in manual mode if the person knows the steps.
Best how to I’ve found. Thanks so much

Bummer, we have had great luck with 2. It sounds like the real issue for you may be the rep. Good help is hard to find these days.

OK
Ah yes it was the
Troll
Haha has anyone noticed the dancing tech in the back at 11:00 thats the kinf of tech this machine was created for

True but your back will burn at the end of the day,at a high volume shop...with machine, you can still have babies when you retire.
Think a manual hand install tyre its most faster then this equipment((
So how long does it take to change a tire with $36,000 machine .

would appear to be 12 min 37 sec per tire.
Some of these automated features are really not need.

Amor de los Estados Unidos de América Deberá ponerse en contacto con hunter directamente hunter.com
Tire shop put inside on the outside . I don't think thats a problem right ? I did want to read it to check if there's a recall on it
Not a problem as long as it is not asymmetrical tire but an inconvenience for sure
Too much lube is never a problem 😆
Lots of work for " automatic"
Sir I am interested in this machine, is this available in the Philippines?
Unfortunately my friend I dont know. Contact hunter engineering directly

we have one in my shop, i change my drift cars tires on it regularly and it goes pretty well.
i was wondering the same when we got the machine in haha
Good tech > Hunter. 1 Helper arm, 2*bead rollers will be enough of doing 99.99% of the tires on the market with no fvcked up.
takes too long..!
Horrible bull shit..this machine is bull shit.
