Everything about that song just fits my move to Orange Beach - hell, I’ve even got a red bike! And quite possibly, a Golden Retriever pup named Spooner once I get settled in.

Wow. What a great interview. The legendary Jimmy Buffett and a really great interviewer. You don't see a lot of interviews with Jimmy that go to these depths and I kind of went into this thinking, "well this is just going to be a promotion interview for the new album". Cut to...the new album gets discussed for like 5 minutes out of 40 minutes, and the rest is just classic Jimmy, stories, insights...etc. As a long time fan and Parrothead who has seen Jimmy live over 35 times, I really enjoyed this.

I’m pretty basic when it comes to a lot of this latest technology so your email address would be easiest for me ( promise I won’t inundate you with emails!). Late in the evening my wife said go and try to get the end of the show. I raced into the city, parked the car sprinted to the theatre, only to see the audience coming out and saying things like‘how fucking great was that!’ Anyway, I have been able to see you since and sure hope you get back down under again some time soon

I grew up and still live in Al. As a teen in the 70's, Jimmy Buffett was seen as laughable cause we were all rock and prog and party heavy with Physical Graffitti etc etc...But 40+ years on, it's pretty clear that Jimmy B. did it and has done it the right way all along. Huge thumbs up to the man cause he has steered his vessel in the direction he's wanted to go, almost from the start. The #1 quality (IMO) that's allowed him to do that is his solid business acumen. His ability to see not being the "greatest guitar player" or "greatest singer" and playing to his own strengths. Many many talented artists have never been heard from because of an incapacity to navigate the business-end of their "profession". PS don't have one of his albums, never been to one of his concerts but I loved Son of a Son of a Sailor from the first time I heard it. Hats off to ya sir !

Most Carnist are disconnected about where their food comes from and their pain & suffering to flesh eaters convenience. Our oceans are more & more toxic every year cause oceans are dying. And consuming mammals or even birds is humans lack of a higher consciousness. And you can't be much of an environmentalist flying in big air planes and eating cows, pigs etc....... He was a Carnist. It's interesting to read all these comments even before he died, that are similar to what one reads after a legend passes. He's been a legend for a long time already.

This interview was 3 years ago so he must have known he had cancer then. He sounds great yet the Merkel cell carcinoma was early at this time. He hid it well. Wish he could have beat the odds of this rare cancer. Some viruses are so deadly.

You did not bad, the man deserved more time. It’s RUclips! This could have been longer.. Your editing was poor, your saving grace was Mr Buffett. He’s gracious, humble, real. With more talent in many other areas. It was like watch an iceberg float by on the screen, you know there is way more underneath.

A lots of quips he had in this interview sounded like song/album titles. The man just exudes lyricism.
