I feel this truck is a no-brainer for people who really own Ford trucks, even if they aren't into RC. I believe that's what the Traxxas marketing department was counting on.

What u should be grateful.for u don't live up north here were our funny money conversion is terrible and everything cost waay more usually on parts shipping is the same or more the the cost of what ur wanting. Make it redundant. But we do have no taxes or dirt on any coming from china thanks to Trudumb being employee of the decade
Yeah 3S def overheats the VXL esc, even on normal driving. esc fan is a must, probably motor too. Gets hot hot driving on grass. Love the new Raptor. Looks so sick!
This truck should come with a heat sink for the motor and cooling fans for both the motor and esc. The Hoss comes with an esc fan and it’s much cheaper than the RaptoR
Super cool truck I just wish Traxxas would innovate a little more and put a larger motor in! We all know the vileneon 3500 kv motor overheats the second you start having fun with it, other than that cool truck!
i think i'll likely just end up converting my slash 4x4 to this. chassis, bumpers, body mounts, body and driveshaft and good to go. i like the longer wheelbase setups for stability.
They missed a huge opportunity by not putting this on a udr platform! Also, all their low budget components and that exposed steering link at over 500??

If Traxxas can get a hold for Dodge and Toyota body for that new chassis, I definitely gonna buy one for sure. The Ford body looks amazing especially that black color 🤌
I LOVE this truck. Bought the only 2 they had in Waco yesterday. Been bashing them for 2 days now and its more fun than the Promoto! Durable, fast and jumps great! Just posted a video of us jumping ours for 7 minutes straight. For sure needs a cooling system. Texas heat is not being nice to these trucks.

Or do I go ahead and get the Ultimate. And just get the Raptor R after they drop all the mods? Can you do a ultimate vs Raptor R vid?
I’d throw in a 6s system, custom f150 body , 17mm wheels making it a ford raptor R lightening edition 😎 either way that truck is definitely awesome out of the box !!!! Great review on another new rc as always🤙

Looks good. I know it’s more of a scale vehicle But, i would prefer the Baja Rey 2.0 Raptor or the F100 for looks and performance. Plus you don’t have to worry about it overheating like the stock trashass electronics. Just my .02 Great video Mark!
con grats traxxas , keep re useing the slash 4x4 chassis to make a new version of slash 4x4 . with different boddies , but you can not make a another version of the UDR that is afortable for me to buy .

If I we’re you I’d go with a 9/54 gearing if you put on trenchers, even at stock 4x4 Rustler gearing it can still overheat with those tires

Back in the day I cut my stampede in half made it longer and put the rear arms on the front and it was awesome.

I run a raptor body on my sct410 basher...its just nice :)
I’m not personally a fan of fords but the body is beautiful
