These things just keep going, about the most reliable car you can have according to the surveys!

Cambelt needs replacing, don't risk leaving it. Also at 80,000 miles it might not just be the tracking it might be the suspension arm bushes that have worn. I've just put two new suspension arms on my Octavia at 73,000 miles for exactly this reason.

I think he's driving through Kent, at extreme southeast of England. 11:22 looks like an oast house with two kiln towers - originally used for drying hops grown locally and used in beer making.

Is it ok to buy a diesel if you don't do a lot of miles, i read somewhere that the injectors get clogged if you don't use them a lot, thought it would be cheaper to buy a diesel than a petrol car.

Deisels no good for short journeys everything clogs up and cost serious money to sort out by specialists. I am speaking from experience lol

@@anthonydruce2441Also takes longer to warm up to operating temperature due to diesel engines being heavier.
So short journeys would be driving on a cold engine which gives poor fuel economy and also stresses the engine

Is a Dacia diagnostic no good? I have literally just bought a 2014 from a small dealer, iffy service history and its on a 28 day warranty so was going to get a Dacia diagnostic done so i have evidence of anything serious. Are Dacia garages really not that specialised then ? And how is there customer service? TIA

Good follow up, yes we are all facing high energy costs. Hopefully our Mid Term elections here will begin a return to sane policy.

I'm a bit puzzled here. Why does a clutch component leak brake fluid? Why are you bleeding the brake system for a clutch problem?

Most cars use brakefluid for both brakes and clutch. Although I believe some have seperate reservoairs
