The Black Crowes are my favorite of all. My favorite would have to be She Talks to Angels. Then How Much For Your Wings. And can’t forget Remedy Soul Singing There are so many. I love them all. Never seen them live tho.
The Black Crows Rock!!! Before they let the first record out one of my many different bands names were The Lonesome Crows they released that great record out and we changed our band name, true story!!🎸
It was a smart move in 1990 not to follow the trend and instead look back at the 70s and take a tip of the hat from the Faces, Rod Stewart & the Stones cool era and take it from there. Nice work guys !!
@@TheJaxsonjack - Lets hope the Robinson Bros bring Marc, Steve and Johnny Colt back in the fold for a proper Southern Harmony" anniversary tour! That would be amazing!!!
You guys gambled with playing your own style of rock and roll. Big risk equates to big reward. People like change when it comes down to it ( most won’t admit it). We don’t want copy cats and it showed in your time. It’s like dinner time, you don’t want the same thing every night. You guys are great!!
Gonna see them on my ‘ownsome lonesome’ 🤣 too - fingers crossed 🤞 cos Pearl Jam and The Pixies have had to cancel AGAIN in Hyde Park Festival London (July 2021)due to the ‘current COVID climate’ in Europe/UK 😭 Me / Black Crowes SYMM tour date @ O2 Brixton, London 🇬🇧 late October ... Pleeeeze go ahead with it, Chris n Rich 💜 ♥️ Izzie
thought these guys didn't care for each other anymore and the BCs were done.. funny how you start getting along again when all the money is up in smoke
I loved the original BC’s and wish Chris and Rich no ill will, BUT...you can see that the bloom has already worn off of the rose. Rich is back to looking like he’d rather be anywhere else than there. And Chris looks tired as fuck. Now, I get that life in this day and age isn’t easy for anyone, and having their tour plans post-poned sucked. But the more I see lately of this, I can’t help but believe the deep-seated industry rumours that this ‘reunion’ is strictly because they are both broke again. It’s the literal reason everyone else involved is a salaried side-man and not a partner in revenue or a full band member-NOT ONE ORIGINAL OTHER MEMBER IS BACK. It’s clear as glass that they just want the pie to be cut only in two. Which is incredibly short-sited of them. If they had worked...REALLY worked at getting the 91 or 93 line-up back together, the excitement for this would have been waaaaaaay bigger...as would the demand for tickets. Which equals MORE MONEY. I have an acquaintance who was once a member of the group (not naming dropping but it’s truth) and he’s confirmed what industry gossip has speculated: the brother’s need the money. And interviews like this make it obvious. Rich’s love of expensive cars and guitars (which I think is awesome, btw) and Chris’ Hollywood ‘lifestyle’ don’t come cheap. Too bad they slit the throat of the Golden Goose, though. Had they have buried the hatchet and brought back Gorman (impossible, I know), Colt and Marc Ford-hell, even just Sven Pipien and Jeff Cease would have rocked!...it would have made a bigger impact, plus more tickets sales, bigger venues, more merch sold, more opportunities etc. Etc. Etc. Such a missed impact by the band I thought that was gonna save rock and roll. Again.
And yes, Charming Mess, as cool as it is, is WAAAAAAAAY to close to Hot Legs. That’s definitely the reason it was shelved. Look at Chris’ face when he says it...he saying it, without saying it.
I love the Crowes (the real band). Once again they have snatched defeat from the jaws of what could have been an amazing reunion. That's what the brothers do and have done since day 1. Way too egotistical to let things happen naturally.
The Robinson brothers wrote 99 percent of the black Crowes music. Who cares if they wanted the original lineup, they are hired guns. Be glad the black Crowes are active again
@@tylerpatterson4787 Who cares? People who have gone to and collected recordings of all the live shows for decades. Each different lineup is different. Sorry. Enjoy the one or two studio LPs you have.
Trouble with Rich is he never shuts up!😜😂.Tickets in London for the not yet performed gigs were £80 (around $150 ?). Saw the Crowes at their last ever UK gig so I'll stick with that memory. Plus the way Steve Gorman has been treated is despicable. As others say, why no Marc Ford too?!?
Damn Looking at these comments just proves that most people think their opinion of the subject matters. Who cares what your thinking when you watch this.
Is she the worst interviewer ever? Must have gotten the job on her looks alone. Starts off calling them "old". Love the Crowes but can't watch this, it's painful.
Ok but the Robinson brothers wrote 99 percent of the black Crowes material as much as the fans wanted the original lineup, they are always hired guns, plus who cares it’s all the music
So true! Huge Black Crowes fan...but the only reason they got back together was because of Steve Gorman's EXCELLENT book....exposed them both (especially Rich) as complete and total douche bags 😂😂😂😂😂
I have so many of them and seen them live a 100 times love this band
But for right now Thorn In Thorn My Pride
Very underrated. Their music remembers me so much of the late 80’s.
I'm the fan he talked about that always yells out, "play Curse Diamond!"
The Black Crowes opening for the Dead Milkmen?! That one is going on my time travel bucket list!
Love these guys. Legendary
The black Crows rule I have never seen them live but I would like to keep on playing
SYMM. Still on my weekly rotation all of these years later.

This bands has tipped the hat to many bands. That's what makes them so cool
Rich should've kept Magpie Salute going.... not sold on the "Robinson Brothers" 30 h anniversary tour! If Marc Ford, Steve and Johnny Colt were in...
Most diehards feel that way.
I feel the same way.

@@paolo-n2000 I'd buy tics to that! I'm afraid Steve Gorman screwed his participation away, though.
@@TheJaxsonjack LOL! His book on the Black Crowes experience is MUST READ!!!
And the absolutely great , free concert in Downsview. Thank you so much.
They were a combination of so many bands. J Geils Band Rolling Stones, and he had one of the best rock and roll voices ever. Such a great frontman.
Rich goes to get a drink and comes back, Chris is still talking
😂😂😂😂😂😭
was thinking how different they are.
Story of his life, I'm afraid.

Those 30 years are clearly visible on Chris' face.
“All I have left is this grey in my beard
This mountain and the stories that I've told”
Does Chris EVER let Rich speak?!? I've known the band since the beginning and WOW has Chris changed!!!
Rich hates speaking. He never does interviews because he hates them
Yea it has been obvious over the year Rich is more introverted. Never seems very happy to me...
@@zippy61 he seems depressed in every interview.

You mean Chris right? Rich doesn’t talk that much. It’s just the brothers and whatever side men they hired for this tour now. Just not the same.
Chris better than Morrison, Jagger, Plant, Hutchence, Ashbury and Martin. In my opinion. Go Chris and the Black Crowess 4 EVA!
