That is exactly how I always describe the Luxe Series! Turn of the century Gossip Girl. I LOVED Splendor. The ending wasn't what I expected. It was like what I didn't even realize I wanted to happen is what happens... I can't explain better without spoilers, but I loved it! Hope you enjoy it!

You should definitely finish the Legend trilogy and read Last Sacrifice! Those 2 series are one of my top faves. I still need to complete the Under the Never Sky and the Blood of Eden trilogy.
So, me and you have a pretty close book taste and I've been thinking that you should start the Gone series by Michael Grant. Amazing writing, amazing characters. And such a unique plot that twists throughout the story that connects all the characters in ways you wouldn't expect. Plus it's so suspenseful and action-packed. Just look into it when you have time :)

I counted my unfinished series (which are finished) and it's going to make you feel better. 1 book left: 16 series 2 books left: 19 series 3 books left: 2 series 4 books left: 2 series 5 books left: 1 series (Soul Screamers series) And there are plenty of series which will end this year and this not-so-short list is going to be even bigger. You know, I'd really love if you make a read-a-thon to finish series (or catch-up. it'd be great as well).
The Last Sacrifice was so good! More importantly is the Bloodlines series, MY FAVORITE SERIES EVER. So you should definitely pick Bloodlines up once you finish VA. Also I am embarrassed and ashamed to admit that I have yet to finish the Harry Potter series. I KNOW. Last 3 books in Vampire Academy Last 4 books in Mortal instruments - not counting COHF Crown of embers and The bitter kingdom etc. etc. etc. (and of course this is not counting any of my adult series which is 90% of my 1900+ TBR!)

I read Legend and like you, I liked it a lot. And a while ago, earlier this year, I picked up Prodigy, but then I went on to read other (YA contemporary) books. When I got back to it however, I wasn't really in the mood for it. So now I just have it sitting there, with the bookmark in not even in the middle of the book. * sighs * I'm planning to read it soon though! ( And possibly finish the series this summer. ^.^ )

I literally finished reading the Well of Ascension about 10 minutes ago, & I'm so pumped to start on the Hero of Ages tomorrow morning (it's almost 2am here right now...). :D The only two series that I really need to finish (I think) are the Chaos Walking Trilogy & the Keys to the Kingdom by Garth Nix. I've been putting off reading book 7 for a ridiculous amount of time. :/ Unfortunately all those books are back in England, so I won't be able to get to them for a while...!

I really recommend you to red The Wheel Of Time series, it's my favourite series of ALL TIME. Since you love fantasy I'm certain you'll like it. Hope you find time to read it.
I own the entire Gemma Doyle trilogy and I haven't finished any of them! I found the last two at Goodwill and I was so excited and ordered A Great and Terrible Beauty, but it took so long to get to me that by time I got it I was "Mmm, nope" My brain is a scumbag :/

The Blood of Eden Series! I found out what happened in Eternity Cure before I finished it, and I am just so sad to read it to end that book and go onto the Forever Song. Have you finished that series?

And I preordered Bitterblue and I haven't read it. :( I did move right after getting it so it sat in a box for a couple months. Has it really been out two years? I feel even more guilty now. Another one I'm super ashamed of is Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. I waited years for it and now I've had it for a few years and still haven't read it.

The Mistborn book I think is sort of like the Cinda Williams Chima series where he's starting to write like a second half to the series? So...I guess feel less bad about that one. :) The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest wasn't the best of the bunch IMO. I felt like it required an in depth knowledge of the Swedish court system (if memory serves...).

I loved Graceling and Fire. I read Bitterblue and enjoyed but not as much. There were much less fantasy aspects (or at least their level of importance) and action and just a lot of thinking and talking. (that said I did love it)
I just started Mistborn today. soooo good. and neglected everything else so I can sit and read it. My most embarrassing one to finish is Percy Jackson, I have one book left and I just haven't read it yet. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm def. on board with a readathon to finish up Percy and some other series.
The Sword of Truth series. I loved the first one and then read halve of the second one, but never finished it or went on. They are really big, though (second one has over 1000 pages), and there are I think 11 books in the series, so I don't know when I'll dare to pick it up again.

As for the readathon thing, I told you, it needs to happen! I have a couple of series I need to read just the last book to finish: hush hush, unearthly, unraveling, and pivot point. It's embarrassing not being able to finish them so host the readathon!!

I really recommend you to red The Wheel Of Time series, it's my favourite series of ALL TIME. Since you love fantasy I'm certain you'll like it.

I own the entire Gemma Doyle trilogy and I haven't finished any of them! I found the last two at Goodwill and I was so excited and ordered A Great and Terrible Beauty, but it took so long to get to me that by time I got it I was "Mmm, nope" My brain is a scumbag :/
My main four right now are Allegiant, Champion, Cress, and Hollow City.

I still need to read the last book in the Under the Never Sky trilogy. I won an ARC but never got it in the mail, so I need to go buy it now. I also need to finish the PJO series. I've read the first 2 and started the 3rd months ago. And A Song of Ice and Fire series. I started the first one awhile back, bought the boxset, and now that it' summer I plan to marathon them all.

I don't know how I did it, but I finished Rebel Angels and A Sweet Far Thing in 4 days total. Kinda insane. I just didn't want them to linger and drag out because then I knew I'd grow to hate them.
The Blood of Eden Series! I found out what happened in Eternity Cure before I finished it, and I am just so sad to read it to end that book and go onto the Forever Song. Have you finished that series?

I have done the same thing with Bitterblue. I love, love, LOVE Graceling and Fire! And I preordered Bitterblue and I haven't read it. :( I did move right after getting it so it sat in a box for a couple months. Has it really been out two years? I feel even more guilty now. Another one I'm super ashamed of is Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. I waited years for it and now I've had it for a few years and still haven't read it.
I don't know if it counts because the serie is not over yet, but I've had Dance of dragons in my shelf for over two years now. I love the serie, I love the tv show, I really want to read it, but... It never seems to be the right time.

I need to read the last two books of the legend series, I have to finish the infernal devices I have no idea why I've been putting it off I know I'm gonna love it I just... I gave up on the hush hush series because I just couldn't finish the second one and I have all four ugh but yeah do a readalong
The Mistborn book I think is sort of like the Cinda Williams Chima series where he's starting to write like a second half to the series? So...I guess feel less bad about that one. :)
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest wasn't the best of the bunch IMO. I felt like it required an in depth knowledge of the Swedish court system (if memory serves...).
i never actually finished the Chronicles of Narnia series. GASP! yes i know...but in my defense a stupid girl in my class never returned the last book, so I couldn't check it out, and then I just never got back to it. I also really want to finish the Ishmael series and the Body Movers series. I don't read that many series lol
I read Legend like within the year it came out and I got Prodigy a while back and I have STILL not read that or Champion so you are not alone.(:
I need to finish the Percy Jackson series. I read the first one a few months ago and really liked it. Then I just didn't pick up the next one. I don't know why. I've also been reading Laura Ingalls Wilder's books. I made my husband buy the series for me for Valentine's Day and read the first two. I meant to read one a month. I've been in such a reading slump lately. I'm trying to finish Anna Karenina (still). I should've put it down for a while but I'm like 80 percent through now and I really just want to finish it.

I need to finish Legend (I have Champion left), Unwind (I have UnWholly, UnSouled, and Undivided left), the Maze Runner (I have Death Cure and Kill Order left), Gregor The Overlander (I've only read the first one), and probably so many others...
I loved Graceling and Fire. I read Bitterblue and enjoyed but not as much. There were much less fantasy aspects (or at least their level of importance) and action and just a lot of thinking and talking. (that said I did love it)
I just started Mistborn today. soooo good. and neglected everything else so I can sit and read it. My most embarrassing one to finish is Percy Jackson, I have one book left and I just haven't read it yet. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm def. on board with a readathon to finish up Percy and some other series.
I need to finish the Maze Runner series, I just can't get too involved with it and I know it's really good but still... >
The Sword of Truth series. I loved the first one and then read halve of the second one, but never finished it or went on. They are really big, though (second one has over 1000 pages), and there are I think 11 books in the series, so I don't know when I'll dare to pick it up again.
