Agree, the other thing is consistency and application in the right context, not everything in the course will apply to a particular situation and it takes some trial and error to figure that out.

I’ve realized in my business that I shouldn’t be the best at everything however as an entrepreneur you need to know enough about everything to know which roles can be filled with more proficient people. Fortunately it didn’t change the way I feel about learning in the e-learning platform. Years later I took another course that taught me valuable skills that I still use today. I haven’t hit my targets yet and that hasn’t stopped me from continuing to push forward. People wondering why this channel didn't blow up to millions, he answered it in this video : most people are below average. (Half was being too generous and polite to not hurt egos)
Not being sarcastic or mean here, this directly correlates to the whole topic, people who think that a guru masterclass will get em to the next level are the people who sadly wouldn't have the skill set to make it in business either way, and no shame in it, it's like being good at football, it isn't meant for everyone and it's aright.
Great video, it states what seems to be the obvious but the obvious is often too obvious that it gets overlooked and under thought about. Cheers

But then thought, there are always things to be learned // gained and watched one of your vids, and realized you are legit. Like you said, everyone has their demons, and not everyone's the same, but there is always valuable information to learn from one another, and it is foolish to jump to conclusions and cast others aside completely. Brilliant video! I must've taken at least 60k worth of courses in the last decade or so.
Initially I have to admit I was looking for the "magic bullet" course, but a couple of years in, I resigned myself to the notion that a magic bullet is just a unicorn. I became really selective with my online course choices, picking out only the programmes with the most interesting bullet points on the sales page 😂, hoping to learn just those bullets.
Over the years, I picked and chose the best bits of knowledge to suit my development as a freelancer and a solopreneur. And I think I came out alright.
At least now I'm spending less and less on courses 😂
This video has now inspired me to offer another coaching service: coaching people how to pick and maximize the utility of the online course they bought.
    😜

Allow me a personal input on your Grant Cardone example: most people (me included) don't judge him "without knowing him", which is partly true, but rather we judge him based on how he presents himself, what he delivers, the true value of his content, and how he behaves when confronted (and yes I'm talking the JB podcast). Most of us that are professionals, have an own business and/or have a minimum of people knowledge and business instinct know he is full of shit. He's a master marketer that became so good at selling himself that the illusion replaced the need for him to have any skill whatsoever. Now, I don't blame him for taking advantage of the mostly naive/ignorant masses, but I won't give him any kind of credibility either.

Exactly. I think this is definitely Alex's blindspot, not realizing that a lot of these guys are selling courses on defunct business models or just "mindset" courses that no longer work. And they are able to astroturf with fake reviews and the few student results so there's no way of knowing what a "well vetted" course and a trash course is.
