I binge watch your shows on RUclips legit all day. Your the one that has me wanting to visit Japan so bad! The scenery, the lunch boxes, anime, the snacks... definitely the snacks! Man I love it!
When you showed the pig's feet I immediately thought of my dad. He used to love pickled pig's feet. Ugh, no one else in the family ever acquired a taste for it.
So for the pigs feet its mostly collagen which is a Korean favorite. It shouldn't have much fat since it's been boiled and rendered. That looks very good!
Salty icecream, sounds a plan. Next time I have a posh cone of coconut icecream am going to salt it up, should be fun. And get me some weird ass looks too.
The table grill makes it...a couple of people, a couple of cold beers and meat and veggies grilled to individual tastes and eaten right away. Our area could use an Asian restaurant that offered this. The closest we come is a large charcoal grilling area where you cook steaks while chatting and drinking a cold one.....Enjoyed today's meal with you, Eric and looking forward to the next..sans insects, of course.
What a great food adventure! Love sweet potatoes and all sorts of mushrooms. I forage from Spring to Autumn for them. Thanks for letting us tag along! Stay safe over there. 😊
That looks fun, cooking at the table. I think it would be fun for a couple of friends to do. I wonder if you can just try that for the first time and not mess it up totally, lol. I think I would need to go with someone who was familiar with that style of dining, or I'd probably make everything inedible 😅 Great video 😊
Closest I ever got to this 'cook your own' was when there were Mongolian bbq places in town ... many years ago. But even there, they cooked it for you. Looks pretty amazing.
Eric's videos are the wholesomeness I need in my life. I could legit listen to him narrate a documentary or listen to him read a book. Great stuff Eric!
Yeh was going to say with them sides and chop sticks very koreanish agreed Eric!!!! Cosy little spot too!!!! Yumo!!!👅 Up up and away in 2 days!!!! 🛫 then we’ll GETSOME!!!!!!!👍🏻
The beef and lamb looked fresh enough to just eat as-is, no cooking required :D I remember table bbq-cooking back in the 90s, but the novelty died out pretty quickly... nice to see it living on in Japan! A ham hough (cured pigs feet) is delicious and you can get so many meals from just one; boil it up and save the stock for an awesome lentil soup, make a fabulous french style cassoulet with the meat, some chicken and cannellini beans..... and then give the dog the bone! You will never starve with one of those in your freezer lol! Great vid as always Eric x
I love yakiniku so much. It’s been a couple years for me as well. I remember in my youth when I was in my everything must be Japanese phase I was a huge asahi and Sapporo drinker 😂 until I refined my taste. Now it’s Kirin or bust!!
Hi Eric I thought this one was going to be a 4 out of 6 You didnt have the awesome reactions you normally have to good food when you really like something. Neat place. Cheers 🍻 #teamgetsome
That looked so good. I use to train RN's from South Korea. They would always bring me different salads to try. Then I was invited to a South Koreans wedding. Afterward, Young the bride was so happy she took me down 3 rows at least 5, 24 feet long, just full of all South Korean food. It was so good. Then my sister in law mother is from South Korea, and her Kim chi is so good, so she usually makes us a big jar of it. Keep up the great job. Love your videos 😊
Howdy finally catching up with my favorite youtuber. Looks so good made me go cook my own steak. Hopefully yall had a wonderful day and are blessed by the sun. 🖤💜💛💚💙🌞
Wish we had places like that here were I live or the vending machines think my son and hubby would love it I know I would I like how you can cook your own meat
I have had that style of cooking but not in a restaurant it was at the chefs house was invited for a private party for the company who done all his house and restaurant repair and remodeling, we all had a great time.
@@ericsurf6 Thats why we love ya mate 😆 I honestly thought it was going to be yummy 😋 (I forget how to say that in Japanese.."umai umai"? ) Like dunking fries into a hot chocolate sundae from Maccas, which I find delicious. Thanks for being so brave!
We love eating this type of BBQ. My husband bought one so we can enjoy at home.

Yeah it's a fun way to eat
When you showed the pig's feet I immediately thought of my dad. He used to love pickled pig's feet. Ugh, no one else in the family ever acquired a taste for it.
Yeah it's definitely one of those weird texture items. It's either you like it or you hate it
My son loves them, but not me.😂
@@ericsurf6 how can it not be an six
Haha I was gonna say the same my dad loves them things 😂

It's relatively simple to cook the food. It's pre cut into bite-size pieces.
@@ericsurf6 it looks like a lot of fun, another item to tick off when I visit Japan. :)
Just can't get enough of your videos.. It's LIT YO
Whan an awesome mix of delicious food Eric !!

I have never tried exotic meat 🥓🍖 before look's great for a restaurant BBQ
Exotic meat is pretty easy to find in Japan. A lot of restaurants serve it

Love ashsi dry. Wow food looked good tonight 😮
I really wish that there was a place like this near me

Seaweed ice cream, I don't even think Japan would come up with that :D
Perhaps but there are a lot of weird food combinations in Japan
Cheers & Beers 🍻 omgosh Eric, all of the food looked amazing. I absolutely love your videos the only trouble is how hungry they make me 😋
Get something to eat

Neat place.
Cheers 🍻 #teamgetsome
Yeah I don't know. The quality of the meat just wasn't there
7:30 am here right now and I'm watching the cherry blossom festival one with lunch boxes!!
LOL at Eric pouring straight vinegar - you're supposed to mix the sauces. Pour some tare, then add in some vinegar and spice to flavor as desired.
Oops
I never had a desire for pickled pigs feet, the bbq version looks much more appealing.
Cheers and beers 🍻

Looked delicious
When I was a little girl, Dad would come back from playing golf and Mum would have a nice big pig's trotter cooking for him. Oh the memories lol
Hey Eric, can you make a playlist of all your 6 star rankings?
Yeah I suppose I could. Great idea
You make the best videos, very entertaining.
The Japan BBQ food looks so delicious.
