Thanks for that. I absolutely love these Jingle Bells. I know that she had the children choose these songs and that she herself does not like these overplayed commercial Christmas stuff. The way she reimagined them seems to me to be a sign of her subversive humor. Like, "f...ck up with that songs, I'm going to suck the blood out of them and let them rise again as perfect dark versions of themselves" 😆🧛. And I'm all for it and I love it. The epicness and eeriness of this album, combined with her voice, made it one of the most amazing and unique albums for me. If there's something Tarja doesn't lack, it's courage and creativity.

Well I hope not. Front and center is her daughter Naomi. The others are her friends and classmates. Naomi already sings, has learned piano and loves playing drums. Music runs in that family. Her maternal uncles both sing as well.
