Being a UGA fan for life living in Jacksonville makes this sweeter for me than for most Dawg fans.
I’d say best performance of the year so far. The score doesn’t reflect that..but when they needed to make big plays they got them and Fromm looked damn good as well. Glad to see him get over that bad loss. Kirby coached well too. Go Dawgs! #KeepChopping

The run by Swift with 9:37 left in the fourth was a thing of beauty. That jab step he must have learned from Sony. And then the throw to Godwin Fromm made...sweetness.

Can't believe we went into halftime with two timeouts in the pocket. terrible play calling at the 1 yard line. our secondary caught a few breaks early in this one. Our run defense really needs to step it up to beat the elite teams. take that momentum from the 4th quarter into the rest of the season.
UGA has to tighten up if they really wanna make a run for a title. Putting one good quarter together is decent against these teams but Bama is a different story.
Yeah. If FLA executed just a few key plays better it would have been a completely different ball game. But this was a nice win regardless. GO DAWGS!

Michael Andrews I actually watched the game again last night and compared the youth. Florida’s entire offense was juniors and seniors, nothing less. And our defense, made up of all four ages, held em to 17. And our offense had 5 freshman and multiple sophomores and still scored 36 against their defense with more experience than ours. Kirby smart has turned this program around and I’m loving every minute of it lol

It's interesting that in both of the "SEC East elimination games", UGA won by double digits and left its opponents (Florida and Kentucky) in enough disarray that they both laid eggs in their next games against teams with losing records. It's often said a sign of a championship caliber team is they beat their opponent in their next games, too. UGA certainly has been displaying this trend lately!

UF was always gonna lose some games the fact that managed to beat 2 top 10 teams is quite a feat. This game was definitely one of the bad ones turnovers were killer and then losing CJ Henderson made things super easy for Fromm. I think 2019 will be a much better game

newbie DB targeted. Fromm had a good day, Franks did not. Georgia's O-Line handled the pass rush most of the time, which opened the run game for the Bulldogs. However, when it mattered, the Gators held their ground in the red zone. only 13 points off of 3 turnovers, and one was on the 1 yard line which ended in a FG. You guys played a good game Georgia, things went your way this time BUT I also see and respect your team's skill. I imagine in 2019 we will have another bout of top 10 teams in Jacksonville. I'm looking forward to it. GO Gators!
