I wish they'd make a prequel Splinter Cell that takes place during the Gulf War so we can see what the crazy shit Sam Fisher did in Kuwait that the 1st and 3rd games were referencing
Man, the soundtrack of this game really takes me back. Awesome by Amon Tobin. Also - incredible speedrun. Love the no graphic overlay and no commentary.
Not sure if it would save much time here or in the 100% run, but I discovered that in Hokkaido, if you skip killing Neddich altogether when you first encounter him, he shows up again in the courtyard where Shetland takes off in helicopter near the end, maybe he's quicker to kill there
Fisher: Lemme guess...three alarms and the mission is over? Lambert: Of course not. This is no video game, Fisher. Fisher: In that case... Lambert: Telling him that was a bad idea.
+AngelOfTheTriad i see what you're saying. This speed run is just so funny because I take a lot of time trying to be stealthy and quiet in the game, but he just blasted through the crap.
AngelOfTheTriad yeah, but the guy has a point. Stealth games lend themselves even less to speed running since they're about patience, slower pacing, etc.
If I designed a game, the A.I’s would be programmed for casual play and speed run play. Developers are too lazy to program their AI to handle speed running.
+CotySA M. Also in the mission penthouse why do you spam open and closing the door when you get to the magnetically locked doors? And would you say most of the any% run of this game is down to execution and skill?
+Eric Chen Closing and reopening these three doors somehow prevents them from closing automatically after a while. Since opening a door takes about 2 seconds, this saves quite some time. :)
+The35Basketball Glad you enjoyed the run! :) I don´t think so. I didn´t find too many easter eggs or glitches, that would be interesting to watch offside a speedrun, in this game. But I thought about making something like an "all interrogations"- or "all bonus objectives"-video.
carl mann Thanks! I did some routing for Pandora Tomorrow a while ago, maybe I´ll run it sometime. :) But before I start something new I will most likely finish my Chaos Theory 100% run, since I already recorded 8 out of 10 missions of it. :)
Are you playing on PC? I have on PS2 and I can't seem to aim for shit. It has 2 speeds. Fast and Faster. I try slightly moving the stick to adjust my aim, and it doesn't move at all. I am going to try on Xbox original next and see if the aiming is better. I assume your playing on PC? EDIT: Also I seem to miss head-shots even though my cross-hair is lined up perfectly.
You play on PS2 and you can't tell all the levels are different in this video? Of course it's PC, PC is the fastest platform for any game which requires aiming a gun or projectile/object. For SC1 I still haven't found a PS2 speedrun. That game is very sluggish, but people speedrun Driver 2 which is very slow also.
Hmm. Given that this is segmented, it seems weird to me that you do the hacking in Displace one number at a time - why not just insta-guess the first possible combination and reload if it's wrong? Would've saved several seconds.
How do you get Sam to open full auto fire without firing one single shot first? It seems to happen randomly for me. I remember on the Xbox and PS2 ones all you have to to is press the button/trigger all the way/harder and he'll fire full auto without the first semi auto shot.
I think if you're on the second last or last run speed (the fastest I mean) it switches to full auto, unlike SC1 there's a selector which already was in the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series. Bear in mind I haven't tested this but it makes sense about the random select fire.
i have this game for Gamecube and PS2 and Xbox No PC version maybe one day for a collection as long as its not scratched on disc for PC then i shall try it
"The Maria Narcissa is a boat"
"So is the last girl you set me up with"
Lol this game is so savage. I miss Ironside.
"Fisher"
"Sorry".
*lobs frag grenade*
"Good God Sam what have you done?!?!"
"It was an accident"

SC is a very underrated franchise. Glad to see plenty of people love it as much as I do.
+Cory Baxter Amen
Yes sir. Easily my fav franchise.
Criminally underrated but so damn good.
It's actually really popular and was a big hit when it released.
I wouldn’t say underrated, just forgotten in this day and age.
1:52
Sam: Who were you talking to?
Guard: Jesus
😂
I wish they'd make a prequel Splinter Cell that takes place during the Gulf War so we can see what the crazy shit Sam Fisher did in Kuwait that the 1st and 3rd games were referencing
There's a few missions in the PSP game set prior to his work as an NSA agent
@@Gabriel-wk3hz too bad that game is broken beyond belief
Conviction had a good part in the gulf.
Best game ever. The bank (3rd level) is my favourite! Hated it at first but only came to love it later on. That's what sparked my 100% undetected run
I forgot how great this game looked for its time.
Could have been released in 2012 and it would have still held up graphically.
maybe 2009/2010.2012 I'd have to disagree.
Westie1010 If the resolution was 1080p I would say 2012.
+David “Dsr478” Robert considering conviction was 2010 blacklist was 2013 and clearly had much better graphics I'm still going with 2009/2010 era
How great the game looks today*
Deader than Elvis
splinter cell fans NEVER DIEEE!!!!!! :)))
+sasawedx Never! :)
+CotySA M. Will you please do Double Agent and Pandora Tomorrow?
+CotySA M. WE SPLINTER CELLS NEVER DIE!
sasawedx NEVER!
Im here in 2020
Sam Fisher part time spy, Full time Savage
Man, the soundtrack of this game really takes me back. Awesome by Amon Tobin.
Also - incredible speedrun. Love the no graphic overlay and no commentary.
40:40 lmfao
Okay, the moment at 25:10 is too good to pass up.
Lambert: Sweet Jesus Fisher, the NKA just committed...
Fisher: So did this door.
This game graphics has aged well over a decade later. That’s how u know this game GOATED
Almost two decades now
Anyone remember the old man at 13:30 and how annoying he was every time you'd mess up?
Dude! precisely
Good job Fisher! You fawked up the whole missio-great work sam!
23:40 had me crying 😂
Lol can hide the body shot it in the elevator 😂😂😂
why did it make you cry? at 23:40?
I just love the way the dialogues play out differently from my try-hard 100% stealth play throughs. Really detailed game for its time.
LOL When I first clicked I thought it was 49 min to do the first mission, but goddamn that was impressive.
This is my 4th time watching this speed run at 33:40 never fails to make me laugh.
Fisher Im serious ! One more alarm and Im blowing the whole op.
…
Good Job Fisher.
The finesse of this speedrunner is insane
Not sure if it would save much time here or in the 100% run, but I discovered that in Hokkaido, if you skip killing Neddich altogether when you first encounter him, he shows up again in the courtyard where Shetland takes off in helicopter near the end, maybe he's quicker to kill there
Sam: “Just Do What You Need To Do Grim.”
Grim: “I Always Do Sam, I Always Do.”
Sam: “I SEE IT GRIM!”
*Grim Shoots*
Amazing video! your videos have allowed me to beat splinter cell 1 in about 1hour and 20 min. Great Work.
Will you do a Splinter Cell Double Agent speedrun?
Amazing, really loved this game back in the day^^
Fisher: Lemme guess...three alarms and the mission is over?
Lambert: Of course not. This is no video game, Fisher.
Fisher: In that case...
Lambert: Telling him that was a bad idea.
lol, this is too funny because these games arent really meant to be speed ran
Games in general were never meant to be speedran, speedrunning is a community made feature not an officially developed one

@@sO_RoNerY Their not lazy, they're on a deadline and can't account for everything.
34:09 the turret was flabbergasted by your approach 😂
Loved this run! It looked so smooth! Nice work man :)
just watched the full speedrun. level: GOD!
He finishes a mission in 2 mins and i in 50 minutes
Imagine in real life the missions are completed in this way
All the talking made it feel like watching an archer episode lmao
E3 2017 had one job...
e3 2019 had one job...
E3 is unemployed 2020
😞😞😞😒😒😒
You don't send Coty in when you want discretion. You send Coty in when you want the job to get done, and the job will get done quickly.
your right doug i wont shoot an old friend
26:43 "Whose side am I on here?"
"Your own."
BOOM!
27:21
*Fisher not even listening to the NK soldier*
Fisher - "You wanna tell me whats going on Lambert?"
Me - "WTF is going on?" xD
Are you using the stealth loadout for every mission? Also great job on the speedrun! Its always fun watching chaos theory being played quickly :)
+Eric Chen In every mission except Lighthouse and Seoul. In these two missions I use Redding´s recommendation. :)
+CotySA M. Ok cool 😄
+CotySA M. Ah I see thanks for the quick reply :)
I dont get why many of the guards seem so blind during this run lol
you are amazing and playing at super scale
"looks like someone got some smoke grenades for christmas" lolz
I wish I get smoke grenades too next christmas. I only get frags flash.
Holy shit, robbed a bank in
Do you plan to do anymore SC speedruns? like Pandora Tomorrow?
This is gold! even more impressive than the first splinter cell game, will you be making a glitch and easter eggs vid for this as well?
+The35Basketball Glad you enjoyed the run! :)
I don´t think so. I didn´t find too many easter eggs or glitches, that would be interesting to watch offside a speedrun, in this game.
But I thought about making something like an "all interrogations"- or "all bonus objectives"-video.
John Wick style...I like it
You are a legend
My anxiety watching this video is abnormally peaking
Oh damn the ear-rape at 34:09
You're That Ninja LMAO
LOL I wasn't expecting that
Great Run by the way!
good job man, you not feeling pandora tomorrow?
There's a nice run by 'Molotov' on SDA, I'd recommend watching it.
carl mann Thanks!
I did some routing for Pandora Tomorrow a while ago, maybe I´ll run it sometime. :)
But before I start something new I will most likely finish my Chaos Theory 100% run, since I already recorded 8 out of 10 missions of it. :)
Good stuff man, i'm glad you still make splinter cell content :)
+CotySA M. Do pandora tommorow.
+CotySA M. Wow. Have you considered submitting these to a speedrunning forum like Speedrun.com?
very good assassin's creed run
Well gg that was awesome
man you kick ass, awesome!
Greatness.

“I know you you wouldn’t shoot an old friend” pew ugh
I'm gonna try to see how fast I can do it. Probably gonna be around 2-3 hours.
Very loud break-in in the bank
do you stream at all? probably gonna miss your reply since youtube notif's are messed up
+LuxsDeluxe From time to time, mostly on weekends. :)
you know what to do, so that version of the game was the number? I need it for patches. please tell me how to do it.
Awesome bro
What country was M3 in?
Old but gold :(
That's perfectly same as conviction
"I know you... You believe in-"
*Shoots*
SHUT UP SPEEDRUN TIME
Everytime a level is finished my PC stops for a moment. WTF happens?
Loading screens have a different resolution from the main game itself, so it cuts between a black screen and the low res loading screen
Do double agent next
I'd never complete this game like this
Why didnt it have him do a quick save in the beginning...?
thats what happens when the NSA hires Usain Bolt
Why not make this a movie?
Imagine if the US government actually worked this quickly and efficiently? 73% is better than they do in real life.
Someone should do a speedrun of normal mode, there aren't any.
GG dude ;)
Crazy ass dude
It's weird but i become Sam when I really have to poop but like in a bad situation
What lol
nice bro
i have this game for Gamecube and PS2 and Xbox No PC version maybe one day for a collection as long as its not scratched on disc for PC then i shall try it
how to punch enemy?
Serious Sam Fisher
Is this world record?
Someone in the military should hire this man!
CotyS AM What's the elevator's code at the battery?
+Silver24k5 1304
+CotySA M. Thanks for the code. ;)
When you do a spleedrun on the splinter cell 4?

Silver24k5 1304

Fuckin super Sam.
