Buddy loves to throw the protein card out there. Mate. We’re not eating bugs, or even knocking them back in a protein shake after a sick workout. The end.

@@FarmLearningTim repeat after me, 'any engagement is good engagement' 🤣
I used to have a (very) DIY black soldier fly farm set up to self-feed my aquaponics tank and it was a good way to get rid of 'shitty' waste and feed the silver perch at the same time.

If you think about it, there is no waste in nature only a complete cycle. So it's a good idea to look at how to ensure what we do doesn't break the cycle. Conventional farming continually breaks cycles then adds synthetic inputs to overcome the symptoms of those breaks, thereby furthering or shifting the problems down the track without ever eliminating the problem. Soil depletion in tillage systems is a good example.
Farming the type of 'livestock', even microscopic in sizes, to allow the cycle to complete unbroken to produce fodder for those animals that are appropriate for us to eat, makes a lot of sense.
I won't be "... eating ze bugz" anytime soon. 😂

Several times. I know he’s trying to gain interest from the Aquaculture industry etc And fair enough - It’s a smart product if it’s as good as he says. However, given his liberal use of various buzzwords I’d go as far to say he’s a bit upset we’re not chowing down on his bugs like they do in other parts of the less developed world. I give him five years max and then he’ll really push for human consumption in his sales pitch 😉 😂

Hello Mr Thompson. I just stumbled upon your videos and I was wondering if you could answer a question. My husband and I are putting up a wire fence in our front yard. It’s a woven wire, no climb horse fence. We are using square posts with this fence. We want to set the wire on the inside of the posts as this looks better. We cannot figure out for the life of us, how to turn corner’s without wrapping the corner post. This looks terrible so we are looking for a different approach. Do you know if it’s possible to keep the fence on the inside of the posts without wrapping the fence around that corner post? Thanks for your time!

I apologize this question has nothing to do with the video. I was hoping you’re most likely to respond to most recent video.

Haha. No stress. You call the mesh no climb so you must be American. Typically you strain from corner to corner in straight runs. This mesh is likely 13 line so very heavy, most typically you would strain 100m runs at maximum. (I think that’s about 300 feet in imperialist). I assume you are putting the wire on the pressure side of the fence? This is the side where the animal is likely to put pressure. If this means that you are going to try and strain around corners then it would need to be on the outside of the post BUT this kind of mesh(with all the picket wires) does not strain well around corners…. I would avoid that. I recommend straining from corner to corner. Tying off neatly. Fenceline solutions wire clips are the way to go for this. www.fencelinesolutions.com.au/
I hope this helps. Have fun!
