I find it interesting that when a band does something different, people complain but when every song on the album is the same, they still complain. I prefer the heavier songs aswell, but this is so god damn catchy and you can't even deny it. If you listen to this entire album front to back with an open mind, you will jam the fuck out. I've never listened to a band's album where every song was COMPLETELY different from the last. The talent and diversity these group of guys bring to the genre is absolutely undeniable, so stoked for them.
you're one of the rare reasonable people i've seen in the comments talking about this album. everyone thinks a band needs to be original, but also be original by popular demand and no one gets that no one enjoys music with that kind of formula. fucking idiots. this album is amazing and i've jammed the fuck out to this song like 18 times today

I'm so impressed with this album! Never was a huge fan of Issues because they were just one of those bands that's so unique you don't know what to think at first, but this is real music!

Love how Issues doesn't believe in staying as one type of music. Their albums are different than one another, even their songs. Issues is music of all types so I find it enjoyable to hear some hard core with dub and rb soul just an overall good mixture.
The most original and diverse band I know. The sky is the limit for these guys.

So true! I hate how all the real,deep,meaningful music is not discovered! Half of the "music" that is played on the radio is just a bunch of (Parton my French) shit! Least favorite song, but it still shows their diversity with music. This is their FIRST full length guys. Let them fine tune their sound as the years come. It's asking a lot, I know. But if you don't like this release I can see why, but I completely love every song on it. Just give them another year and come back for their next release.

Man, they played this song in San Antonio. I hadn't heard of them playing it live anywhere. So when it kicked off...I soiled myself! They started it acoustically and about the time Michael comes it...grinding occurred.
If only every Top 40 "clubbanger" had hardcore breakdowns and screaming....
Still one of my favorite albums to this day. I used to work at Jimmy John's in high school as a delivery driver. By the time I moved on from that job, the whole town most likely heard the whole album too.
Intensily in love with this album so far.
The amount of sounds that these guys are able to create shows true talent and the ability to change it up and diversify their sound without every song sounding exactly the same. While I loved Black Diamonds, I think it's great to hear all of these different styles on the LP.
Finally a band on Rise that's not trapped in a box. Thank you for pushing the envelope, so good.

Annoying how everyone automatically hates anything that isn't where a band started. Does anyone realize that they're trying to be original? I loved black diamonds, but it was a RUSHED EP. An Ep sometimes isn't a bands definite sound, they even said it was a experiment of a possible sound. Yes, they have some chug in their songs. Yes, it can be a little generic. But, in regards to every other band out there, I personally don't know any band that you could possibly confuse them with. If you don't like it cool, everyone has their own opinion, but don't get mad at a band for pursuing what they love. They will never be the old wim, they won't be the same issues they were when they started. This is them, don't like it, then just move on dudes haha.
Personally, i liked what they did on the very first Woe is me album, and it would be awesome, if they continued that sound. On the other hand, i really like these new songs they are posting, so... i think that's ok, if a band changes in sound through the years. The bands don't do this get boring.

Finally! An Issues song that's not in Csharp. And before any of you start ragging on me saying "It's their music, they can do what they want" or something like that, I'm not saying their music is bad. I'm just saying it's kind of annoying when all of a band's songs are in the same key. I mean, I understand some groups have certain keys that they like to write songs in and are easy for the singers to sing in, I just like it when there's a bit of variety.

+Joseph Percy a majority of their songs are in b flat minor and a lot of the new ones are in a flat minor. Slow me down is in e minor. This one is in b minor.

The things I love about this album is Ty's work throughout the entire album! Let's not forget about AJ's & Sky's guitar parts, Michael's & Tyler's perf singing techniques. AND WHO COULD FORGET THE TALENTED JOSH HOLY SHIT DUDE! :) I love this band so much!

I like this album because the music sounds really great, nice rhythm unique to each song, every song is different. More bands need to do this IMHO.

The voice modulation in the breakdown is so solid. It kind of sounds like With You, Friends by Skrillex. But this is clearly better.

People shouldn't be complaining because unlike most bands, their music never sounds the same & they are very original & can create catchy tunes. They form their own style & have the talent. Either you enjoy the music if you don't, if not then you should get off the page.

This march I commited suicide and had to stay in a hospital for two weeks. I remember telling my brother to took all Issues songs in a usb and brough them to the hospital. I spent those two weeks listening to this album (Headspace went out while I was there). This band have saved my life and I can't be more thanful.
