I got lucky in Scottsdale, Arizon in the mid 90s. I worked security for a gentlemens's club that offered, private entertainment outside the club. The show was booked for an audience of one, but when we arrived at the room, something felt off. The customer paid the club fee and walked me toward the door. I sidestepped him, entered the bathroom and pulled back the shower curtain. Three more men were hiding in the shower. I declared the show canceled, the club fee forfeit. They blocked the exit, but I was able to convince then to allow the dancer to leave. I pushed my way to the door. As they grabbed me, I growled a threat and walked out the door. As we were headed down the stairs, one of them emerged from the v room with a rifle. I covered the dancer and rushed her down while shots were fired, hitting the wall behind me. The dancer was terrified and a bit traumatized but I just felt lucky neither of us were hit. 25 years, later i felt pain in my side that just kept getting worse. I went to the hospital and after a few test, a surgeon came to speak to me and asked, "When did you get shot?"

To the man and his son who tried to help save ppl, Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!. You two are truly heroes in my book.
To the official who stopped the two heroes, I hope you all sleep well at night. That's all I will say about that.
Our country is not the same country I grew up being taught about in school. Idk what in the hell happened to help thy neighbor!? I really hate to see what would happen to our home land if more than one catastrophe happened. Pretty much each family is on their own, because the government isn't helping and those ppl who try to help will face harsh and uncalled for punishment. And that's just bullshit!
