I have watched many, many wreath tutorials over the past few months from many wreath makers, and I have to say your tutorials are the best I have seen on RUclips. You are clear and concise and easy to understand. You know the concepts of balance, symmetry, and dimension, and you are able to teach those concepts. All of your wreaths are gorgeous. Thank you so much for all your time and effort to share with us. You are an awesome teacher!
Thank you for your videos. They are actually very relaxing to watch. You actually gave instruction on how to use a different wire frame that you weren’t even using. For me, the tape measurements and precise instructions are very much appreciated!!!! You FF thru at appropriate times when it just gets repetitive. I am going through my subscriptions and stopping some that don’t really provide actual instruction. Thank you so much and you have a loyal follower in me!!!!! Thanks again!!!💕
I am a crafter myself, JKat and this was absolutely exquisite to say the least! I have been watching many tutorials over the past several months on new craft ideas and wreaths, and this was the best tutorial I have ever seen! You made everything so easy to understand. You gave me new ideas from how to cut several ribbons at the same time, to all the little things you do to make things more beautiful and concise. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, JKat! You can be sure I will be following you on Facebook to see what else you do! Have a wonderful day and God bless you always! Sincerely, Tracey
Hi! I just started making wreaths! I've watched so many RUclips videos on wreath making. This wreath is the most beautiful wreath I've seen!❤ I like how you add more ties to the wreath and Love how you place your ribbons so that they fan out! Absolutely gorgeous! And you are so talented! I'm going right now to watch your other videos! P.S.You are an excellent teacher! Thank you so very much! Beth Ann
Kat, I have been watching you make wreaths for quite a while now. I have also been watching someone else. After months of being taught how to make Wreaths we were informed that we are not allowed to use her techniques because she has a trademark. How are we supposed to learn or or go into business or whatever if we’re not allowed to use a persons techniques because we learn from that person. I love the way you answer questions while making your wreath and it doesn’t slow you down.
Copyright and trademark laws can get a little sticky because they're generally as clear as mud when it comes to arts and crafts. I'm not an expert on that topic, or a lawyer, so I'm really not in a position to comment too much on that. To my knowledge, a technique is one of the things that can't be copyrighted, although a designer's formal instructions and final product can be. Once again, I'm not an expert, and I would recommend doing your own research and/or contacting that designer personally for clarification.
Wow such a beautiful wreath! I've been binge-watching your videos and I'm learning so much. I can't wait to start working on one of my own wreath. Thanks for all your hard work showing these videos. 😀
I didn't need to watch this, but it was tagged in one of the groups. This is an OUTSTANDING video to watch and learn how to make a wreath. Coodies to you for doing this :)
Great tutorial! They way your camera angle is set up is the best I’ve seen so far. It gives a close up view of every step you are taking which makes it very easy to understand what you are doing especially for visual learners. Thanks for sharing!
I loved your tutorial. You really explained everything so clearly.I haven't done a lot with ribbons so this was very helpful. Also I love the peacock theme. My Christmas tree is following this theme.Ill definitely be working on your idea.
Gorgeous, I would love to see you do more decor mesh wreaths, I need the practice. I'm Donna, from Austin, TX, and again, this is so dazzling# God bless you! 🦚 🦚 🦚
I made a wreath that color once, so, I think I will do it again and add the peacock ribbon. Yours turned out beautiful !! I am not a big bow person or the add the ribbon person, but I will give it a try.Ronnie
Absolutely Loving This Peacock Wreath! The colors are Wonderful! 1st time w/ you- had to subscrice once I clicked your name & saw all the other Flower Wreaths - just Gorgeous. ❤👍💙💛💚😃
Your wreaths are gorgeous, I can see me trying this after Christmas…less stress…thank you for sharing your talent…oh I hope all supplies are available at our dollar stores as we live in rural areas of Ontario!
You could also use the guidelines on your mat to measure the 10". Everyone has their own ways... whatever works is just fine! Your wreaths and videos are awesome, thanks for the tips and techniques!
I love this beautiful wreath! Would it make any difference to start the poofs on the inside first to keep from having to wrestle over the outside poofs? I’m still learning how to do these methods.
it is beautiful--after watching this-- would starting on the inside be easier to do with the poofs-- i love ur poofs so don't want to ruin their looks if can oonly start on outside-- thank you great video
Great tutorial! I've watched hundreds of videos and this one is my best by far. I actually feel comfortable enough to start trying to make one. If I would use 10 inch mesh should I use each row? Also can I spray it with hair spay to keep it from fraying?
Hi, Really like the way you do your mesh. The ribbon that you put in, is it only on the outer "poufs". Not sure if you did the inside as well. Thank you, Kathy
Kathy Shelley Hi Kathy, thank you! I do put ribbon on the inner row too. 7 on the outside, and 7 on the inside putting ribbon in every other tie. Hope this helps! 😃
JKats Hi...I am a new subscriber...I am so happy I came across your channel but I am a new craft person too. I just made my first wreath for 4th of July but it was with 5" burlap...it came out really nice. I love it. I just bought some 21" mesh in Christmas colors from Michael's. I bought Red, Gold, White and Green. I think I want to return the green. They are on sale but I was thinking I could not use it because of the size. But I just saw your channel and I am excited to try it. Thank you so much. Do you cut all of your ribbons the same size? For example 10" long or do you have different sizes that you cut?
This E.G. again! I would like to try and make one of your flower wreaths. Can you tell me when to get the tempered glass? All that I find is really expensive. Thanks again! EG
No nonsense. No silliness. No waste of time. GREAT tutorial. Step by step instruction with clear view of the process and mechanics. Excellent video!!!
