The Edge of Night was also my favorite daytime drama of all time. I was saddened when they killed Nicole off, but I still watched till the end! The interview between Sandy, Karen, Jennifer & Maryanne was awesome! Long live The Edge of Night!!
Thank you, Alan. The Edge of Night was my favorite daytime drama, so I enjoyed seeing these women together. They all have such interesting stories to tell. They are truly multi-talented women. I love how supportive they are of each other. Their honesty is impressive, and so is their perseverance. They are real role models.
I still miss The Edge Of Night. Didi and Calvin were/are my favorites. All the ladies look great. Thanks for doing this. This fan really appreciates it.
This was GREAT! Thank you so much! My aunt got me watching this show and I was hooked. As a favor to her, for her birthday, I had Mariann do a Cameo video for her. She LOVED it! She plays it over and over again.
My late mom used to love watching the edge of night way back in the day even the 70s I like looking it up on RUclips today just see you bye recognize any faces or just to watch it for fun love from 🙏👍👍♥️♥️♥️🙂🇨🇦
@@sitmyassdowncomedy7761 thank you for the flowers in the hearts very kind of you I just subscribe to your channel ,I have a channel too call Kim Arsenault 🌹♥️😊
I met Ray Serra (Eddie Lorimer) at a wedding in Staten Island and it was quite a thrill to meet someone I was seeing on TV every day. It may have seemed unusual for a 15-year-old boy to watch a soap opera. I started tuning in because my mom and sister were regular viewers but I became a fan because of the show's focus on crime and mystery vs. the usual sappy daytime soap storylines.
Hi Alan, this was so much fun! These wonderful women were so honest, so charismatic and so entertaining! The Proctor & Gamble soaps were my favourites growing up (especially Another World). There was just something special about them. My heartfelt gratitude to everyone who worked on them.
Missed some of this but miss Edge and really enjoyed and will watch from the beginning. So honored to call Mariann a friend ❤️ Thanks Alan for this and all that you do ❤️
Fantastic reunion. Especially loved all the behind the scenes stories. Edge of Night was a special group of actors. A family. Wish you would do a tribute to Larkin Malloy. I think he’s earned it. He was a huge part of Edge, GL, All My Children & an acting coach on As The World Turns. I’m sure many would love to contribute to his memory. Just food for thought….
Love Karen! 58:45 The mime scene with Christopher Jarrett is part of the August 28, 1982 ‘Edge’ episode recently posted online as a lost episode recently discovered. That is a great scene!
Great interview and I and my late Mom used to watch EON but sadly for me the only one of tbe ladies that I really remember is Mariann Aalda as Dee Dee Banister, I'd have to probably go to RUclips and pull up some clips of the other ladies...
You know I never watched this show but I do remember it coming on when I was little I did however discovered it in 2016 and what I've watched since now & then (2022) I actually enjoyed it The Last Episode could be consider A Christmas Classic The End of The Show And The End Of 1984 .... Classic

Another fun interview. General Hospital got all the attention, but EON was my favorite ABC soap; the writing and acting was always great.

😍😍
6:50 Is that how you pronounce Sharon’s last name? I have always heard people pronounce the final “et” as “it”.
Don’t remember any of them and I watched it every day.
🙈❤️🙈
Alan that was Dick Van Patton not Van Dyke that was on 8 is enough
OMG -- Did I say Dick VanDyke 🙈🙈🙈
That’s, right, Owen!😊
What happened to former actress Jennifer taylor from edge of night?
Check out this interview with her.
Would be such a coup if you could get Ann Flood for an interview.
🙏🙏🙏
Sandy married Joel Carruthers at the end of the show
😍
Yep!🌹
