Best way to make sure Face Hunter goes extinct? Play the slowest deck possible, rope every turn and make sure they have to deal with your shit for 20+ minutes. You make them waste time so others don't have to deal with them Kappa

chrisberg2 I think that's actually worse than playing face Hunter. Sure I can understand, that it's annoying to play against face hunter and lose, but in the end of the day it's just another deck like every other, yeah it's easier to learn than most decks but it still takes some skill to master it and bring it to legend. So while Hunters just play a deck YOU don't like to play against (I always enjoy crushing them with warrior), you actively try to ruin their fun.
I try to make em see reason and play some other deck! Facehunter is the only deck that ruins my fun.

Joshua Olesen yep the reason everyone hates face hunter. It's not that you did anything/ built any deck to beat them, but that they somehow drew badly that they lose. If they draw into traps instead of scientists and dont get their weapons, unleash, and kill commands early there may be a chance you can win.

Literally just found this video today. The math on Heal Bot is insane. Assuming a perfect game, here's the math on it.
2x Heal Bot + 2x Shadowstep + 2x Gang Up + 2x Vanish on a 7 Heal Bot board = 2 + 2 + 6 + 14 = 24 Heal Bots total. At 8 health per Bot, that's 192 health. And the best part is, if you add in a Baron Rivendare, your Vanishes only count 6 bots each so the total goes to 22 bots but at 16 health per bot that becomes 352 health just from bots. This is only potential though, and not representative of what would actually happen in a game, but holy shit that's some insane healing.

Artosis looks back in Kripp's eyes filled with glee and hands him a cut-off toe. "Extra BM!" he replies. The two who are among the greatest of hearthstone experts proceed to walk off together towards the sunset, with their glorious ultimate 20% win ratio.

I see a lot of people complain about face hunter in the comments, but why? At the end of the day it's just another deck like control warrior or freeze mage, the people who play it have fun with it, and i agree, face hunter is a fun deck. The point of the game is to have fun playing, winning is just a potential bonus. You guys should all relax and stop being try hards if it upsets you that much.
Denn Green III The problem is that Face Hunter is super hard to counter and it gets even harder if you dont have that much of a good deck.Its a way to play,yes, and sometimes a counter will come but till now its super annoying
Taunts and removal basically, that's what screws me over when I play hunter. You could also play hunter yourself too, hunter cannot counter itself lol
Removal normally doesnt work,a lot of those cards are designed to do one time dmg and than see how they got removed.For the taunts they often have some remove or a silence
Honestly the only thing that makes hunter any different than the other classes is the one extra damage on the hero power that makes him seem extra bursty. But really all it is, is throwing down low cost cards and running them into the face, you can do that with any class
Kinda vut those two dmg is the double dmg.Its just this bit more which makes it so good

Max heals from healbot 2 in the deck 6 from gangup 14 from vanish 2 from shadowstep = 24 x 8 + 30 = 222 and thats only from healbots

If you run Ysera you can also get Dream a bunch of times for even more. if you run Lorewalker cho and manage Copy your spells you can get even more, but only if the enemy is stupid enough to give them back to you, which he might because Face hunter has a lot of charge minions. Basically there's potential for a stupid amount of healing, and it's not capped by your spells, it's capped by the amount of healbots you can play before Fatigue Damage one shots your face.

Massive misplay not to trigger the explosive trap with the dagger when the board was empty. It was the obvious play imo. Would have definitely won the game that way.

Why, its a legitimately fun deck to play against unless you are a hunter or mage, in which case, no one really cares. The deck gives you a full hand of cards constantly, allowing you as the opponent to play off some pretty good combos

I respect a fact that hunter didn't concede and played to the end. There is a lot of bitches that would just get mad and leave the game. But it just shows how awesome is that mill deck, it's fun to play even if you lose against it. I play handlock and I am not even mad when I lose to it ;]

He'd have died either way, but if he actually attacked and it was a Freezing trap, he could have healed for 8 more at the end, so it simply was a bad play.

I don't understand why people hated people who played face hunter. "Oh it's not skill it's just simple minded". If you actually have skill face hunter is a pretty counterable deck. Low health minions that get off burst. Chances are with any control mechanics you wipe the board gain control. Ask anyone who would play face hunter. The main prob with the deck was any semblance of a control structure. Disrupts the linear damage output of the deck.
Onviously nowadays face hunter is really bad but back in the days you got tons of free wins because you killed your oponent before the board sweep on turn 4-6, because of effective burst spells and youre SMOrc hero power
+thomashley I was and played face hunter. When juggler was a 3/2 glaivezooka was in meta. And 2/1 leper gnome. It was a mediocre deck but was not a solid deck. If you are a better player in general you I would beat them. I played face hunter and often times when I played a person with a more skill intensive deck it would come down to maybe a lucky Leok and hounds. That shows how really in my opinion it was a mediocre deck.
wrathofscorpias Yes it was mediocre in a sense that its winrate was probably like 51-55% but the games were so quick yiu could climb the ladder pretty easily

30:30 I have had people do this shit to me. Where they could clearly win and refuse, either because they want to BM or are trying to force me to concede. I find it a great opportunity to get up and go to the bathroom or fix a snack and leave them to the rope.

I am playing this game for some time now (october 2014). And I still don't have enough cards to make any of these decks. Only partly. It is so annoying i keep getting the same cards over and over again....what is wrong with this game and its gold earning system. Arena only gives gvg packs....terrible support!
Face hunter is actually incredibly easy to Mill with a fatigue druid. I have about a 85% WR in my fatigue druid vs face hunter matchup. You simply have far too much healing and board clear for their single use damage spells to keep up with. PS I'm floating between rank 8 and 4
Isn't it mathematically possible to heal 192? gang up heal bot twice which means you can play 8, you can then shadowstep 2 and if you have 7 healbots on the board at once, which is highly unlikely, you can vanish them twice, which is pretty much impossible. So that means you can play the healbot 24 times, equaling 192 hp.

I love going against face hunter with my mill rogue deck. Even if I lose I feel some satisfaction in knowing that I wasted the person's time. I don't think I have lost against a face hunter yet; I have only gone against 2 or 3 face hunters, each time I had the game go for nearly 20 minutes or longer.
