I have known these Asian instruments since I was a child but I had never enjoyed them because of the weird sound that they gave. After playing Genshin and watch Scissor Seven I have realised that these traditional instruments is actually pretty dope.
When you grow up with them, it's surprising yes how things flip around. Nonetheless they are better than any of the trash wasterns put out. It makes me smile to see their worthless society is finely going down the drain.

The pipa part _is_ in the full version of the opening theme though. It just starts after 3 minutes into the song rather than at the beginning.
