    Do you think you could batch this up to 5 gallons? Let it permit for about two weeks and then put it in the fridge?

    50 grams of salt per litter? That's 3 times the required amounts

      Depends on your source I guess. I'm using pretty conservative sources to avoid poisoning etc. 5% is what my sources recommend, but there are indeed other ways of doing it.

    What? I only age my pickles in used, Spanish, Sherry casks made expressly for Pedro Ximenez grapes. Chaaa~!
