I love the floral one! My favorite sewing memory was copying a high end dress I loved with a striped floral bedsheet and matching all the stripes just the way I wanted and then I got to wear it for my sister’s bachelorette weekend in Charleston. I got so many compliments and I was so proud and happy!!
The blue floral is adorable! I just love this idea so much. I started sewing less than a year ago and I have sewed so much for so many different things over the year. With two small kiddos, I just know that it is just beginning and I would love to keep track of my sewing journey!
I love the gingham one! So so cute! Just recently I did a little nativity sewing project with my mom out of a pattern she had, same one she made for our family when I was little. Now I have a set of my own that I can remember making together with her! Love the idea of documenting these projects and dreams all in one place!
I love these. Really hoping I get one this Christmas. Since I’m just starting my sewing journey, I think it’ll be so sweet to document my makes and see how I grow over the next few years. The blue floral is my fave 🤍
The blue floral one is my favorite! I have recently started sewing again, after over 10 years. I'm really drawn to using more natural fabrics, and finding styles that actually fit my body, now that I am older. But I also want to make clothes that are stylish and comfortable. I think a journal like this would be very useful.
I love the blue gingham journal, I have similar wallpaper to that in my sewing room so it would look super cute in the side for me to fill in all the time 💙 xxx
I’d love the gingham sewing journal ❤️ I just sewed linen stockings for my family using your pattern, and they came out so beautifully. I was going to just make one for our new little one that we welcomed this year, but I decided the whole family needed to match! I also made a mini apron using your pattern for my toddler and embroidered constructions trucks on them. He loves it so much. I had to give it to him early so we could use it when we baked our Christmas cookies! ❤
A sewing journal is a brilliant idea! I love to journal and I just started learning how to sew recently, and I do mean recently, I just had my first sewing class this month. I’ll definitely try keeping one of these while I’m learning. 😊
Blue floral journal. ❤I grow up in another country. Our family was poor. It was my mom, grandmother and I. Mom was professional seamstress. Most of my clothes she sewed because we weren’t able to buy. I didn’t appreciate it at that time but when I was 10 I started to learn how to sew for my dolls. Now it’s one of my favorite things to do! Love sewing for my daughter and myself ❤ I moved to the USA but mom is far a now. Finding you web site is a treasure for me. I absolutely love everything about it! You are such a gifted person. Thank you for all your work! God bless you and your family. Anastasia ❤
What a great idea to journal your sewing adventure. I love all your cover designs but gingham holds a special place in my memories of carefree childhood days wearing gingham sundresses picking blue bells in the neighbors fields. Merry Christmas 🎄
The gingham one is so adorable! I just finished sewing a dress for my niece after not having sewn anything for months. I think if I had a planner for my projects it would encourage me to stick to my sewing plans.
The blue floral is just perfect for me. I started sewing skirts for school with my Mom when I was around 12. Then in my 20s, my grandmother was showing me how to make the flannel granny nightgowns she had made for my sister and I when we were young. Well I made a mistake when cutting out the pattern and I started to cry and my grandmother was so sweet calming me down and showing me how I could fix it! Sewing is a skill that is handed down to the next generation and it provides us with cherished memories. I’m 70 years old and making my clothes because I want to have my own style, comfort in natural fibers, colors & prints that give me joy and the time I spend sewing gives me satisfaction through accomplishing my goals. Your sewing planner would be an excellent resource to help me focus on a project rather than having so many ideas and being overwhelmed by it. I really appreciate your videos and your style choices! Thanks for sharing your projects with us!
I have my own makeshift version of a sewing journal that's simply a composition book, but I would absolutely love a copy of yours. It is beautifully made and looks to be so organized. I love both, but I really love the dainty blue floral cover. I started sewing this year and it has been such a wonderful way to connect with my children. I've been making them pouches and toys to play with but a new 2025 goal is to sew my family clothing items. I believe I can achieve that goal by following along with your patterns and tutorials.
I love journaling and the gingham one would be so perfect to have! I’m an embroidery artist but have started getting into sewing through your videos. Thank you :)
I just found your channel. I just watched this episode about using a sewing journal. What an interesting idea! My mother taught me how to sew a straight line on fabric, with a 5/8 seam allowance, 57 years ago. I sewed my way through college, and continue to sew my clothes to this day, preferring the things I make to those that I purchase. I would love to win one of your journals. The gingham journal is lovely, and it would be nice to enjoy that one. Thank you.
Not sure if my first comment posted! But was going to say, I love both! But the blue floral is gorgeous. My sewing story isn’t necessarily a story, but I’m a mom to two littles, and I feel totally booked up activities wise. Your video on doing 5-20 minutes a day really encouraged me to just try to do 5 min a day, and I’ve been able to complete several projects this way! Thank you for your content, Courtney!
Hi Courtney! Robin Bird, here, and lovely to see you doing this! I love both colors - too hard to choose 1 but would be a blessing. My story is that my mom (who later taught me how to sew) sewed a Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy doll for me when I was 8 years old and I had peaked under her bed before Christmas to see them (even though I wasn't supposed to). When Christmas came, I started crying because I felt so bad about it and felt like I didn't deserve the dolls because I had been naughty, but my mom hugged me and said, "Don't cry! I made them for you because I love you" She always inspired me, modelled sewing for me (just like you are doing with your daughters) and I still have the Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and always will. And I'm still sewing!! I'm not on IG but I do have a channel and I get your newsletter, have written you in the past, so I'm sure you'd find me!
I love these journals so much! I put it on my Christmas list and didn’t get it (we celebrated early) so probably will order one for my birthday! 🎉 It’s funny, because right before you came out with this I was thinking how I wish I had a place to keep my projects and ideas to kinda catalogue not only the journey, but like you said the memories with them. 🥰 I have your gratitude journal and love the intentionality between the pages and the overall rhythm. 🧡 I’m newer to sewing (especially clothes), but a big goal is to sew more clothes for my family! Inspired by the special makes you do for yours and the outpouring of love and thoughtfulness while you make. 🥰 This year I made a lot of littler things for my kiddos: some butterfly wings, little fairies in boxes, and a ring sling for my daughter and her doll. 🧡 there’s nothing like the excitement in their faces when they see something made with love! Grateful for your content, all that you share and produce, and wish you a very Merry Christmas! 🎀
Oh and I love both journals! Haha. But on my list I had the gingham one… not sure why, but just felt unique and kinda grandma ( but like in a good way)… like timeless heirloom kinda way 🥰
This diary is very amazing. I wish I had seen this video before, so that I could have made throughout my daughters' childhood record all the dresses I made for them. But I'll definitely put one of these together for posterity. Pt-BR Muito incrível esse diário. Queria ter visto esse vídeo antes, para que eu pudesse ter feito ao longo da infância das minhas filhas registrar todos os vestidos que fiz para elas. Mas vou com certeza montar um desse para a posteridade.
I would love to win one of these. Very very very much. Mainly because I couldn't buy it. Both are beautiful, but if I were to choose it would be the gingham.
To celebrate the Sewing Journal, let’s do a giveaway! What cover option would you choose? I’ll pick two of you to send a journal of your choice to!

The blue floral cover is so pretty! I like that one best.
Blue floral. This is so great as I’ve been searching for something like this. Tracking projects and fabrics. How great

This is my dream journal. It’s perfect❣️
I want to the blue flower journal.❤

I like both patterns on the journal covers ❤️
What a great idea! It’s like a diary and a record of my sewing! I really like the blue floral cover, but they are both lovely!

Beautiful journal. I started my sewing journey 3 years ago. I would like either one of them❤
I love the floral cover 😊
