- This is my last video taken from the second visit of Bad Kissingen Park, Germany. I was curious how the German roses had grown in this park especially with the severe drought this years' summer. I think this park cut there roses after the first flush really short because most of the bed of roses didn't had much growth, there were few that grew tall about a meter. Most of the roses presented here are from German rose growers.

Oh, Gemma, thanks for uploading all these beautiful roses! As it is grey and dreary here at the moment, I very much appreciate this little getaway. For tonight there is frost in the forecast, so I hope I´ve done a decent job of perparing my roses (some) with clothes (Wintervlies) and a bit of sheepwool in their crowns (especially the standard roses will need some protection). Can you believe that there is a possibility for -7 degrees Celsius for next Tuesday? Brrrr! Poor roses, poor me. You, on the other hand, seem to be the luckiest person, visiting your family and enjoying the warmth of the Philippines. I hope, you have the best time ever and send rosy greating from the Cold! Hallo Hanni! Es ist immer wieder schön von dir zu hören. Ja! Es ist sehr unerträglich heiß hier in meine Heimat und es hat lange gedauert bevor ich komfortabel zu fühlen. Ich versuche nur Deutsche Sprache mit dir zu schreiben weil hier ist keine Chance für mich diese Sprache zu sprechen. I habe gesehen von Internet unsere Wetter in Deutschland, das ist sehr kalt auch für mich. In Wirklichkeit habe ich Angst dass meine Rosen stirbt, ich habe vergessen die Tannen Zweig zu verteilen but I covered well the base before I left. Deine Rosen sind gut gepackt.
