As a Cardinals fan I pray for Jayden Daniels to overcome him because that fkn guy just keeps proving that he doesn’t run a NFL offense (hell, even a competent offense without absolute freak athletes at QB)

You ain't wrong Mr. Daniel because technically this was Kyler 's best game. He finished with a perfect passer rating and no interceptions plus over 50 yards rushing too.
It’s been fun watching film tape from QB School, Chase, and Kurt - all have said similar things but each has a slightly different thing they tend to notice. Helps me understand the game a lot better.
Love your takes bro I’ve definitely gained some knowledge on the game listening to you I’ve been a cardinals fan my whole life and this team is special
He has been balling since junior high in TX. National coverage is so biased, they decimate the Rams and the pundits talk about the Rams loss. Just the way it is here in the desert.
The "Seattle" route in football, typically involving a tight end (TE) running an over route, is called that because it was popularized by the Seattle Seahawks offense under coaches like Darrell Bevell. The over route, where the tight end crosses the field at around 10-15 yards, was a key concept in the Seahawks' passing game, particularly during the time when Russell Wilson was their quarterback. Teams often name route combinations or plays after cities to help players easily identify and remember them. In this case, "Seattle" became associated with this route combination due to the Seahawks' frequent use of it. It's not necessarily universal, but it has become a common term in some playbooks.
One thing I noticed in this film is the pass blocking scheme changed from week 1. After the ball is snapped the center and a guard will split and move their man to the left and right creating a lane for Kyler. Not a throwing lane, but a vision lane. Kyler has always struggled to see past the line of scrimmage. They are solving that problem with their blocking schemes. If I were an opposing defensive coordinator I’d counter this with a delayed spy blitz up the middle with a middle linebacker. But Kyler is making quick good decisions so speeding things up might not work. They look tough.
Kyler looks great this season. Although I do think on the second to last one to McBride he should have hit Harrison instead because the entire middle of the field and going to the right from there was wide open but idk if maybe the route wouldn't allow him to lead Harrison that way
Watch the play when Chase pauses the video. Kyler looks and sees the corner is blitzing so he know he may not have a lot of time. When Kyler makes his decision to throw to McBride 37 has his back to Kyler and he appears to be blanketing Marv underneath. But instead 37 breaks off when the ball is in the air to double Trey. If 37 stays with Harrison he wouldn't have been open and Murray made the decision thinking the safety would keep coverage on Marv.
@@thaThRONe yeah I just rewatched a few times and at the time Kyler is pulling his arm back to throw Harrison looks like he's going toward the left so if he threw it where I was saying it would have just fallen to the ground because MHJ couldn't have been prepared for it to go there. Perhaps he could have waited a second, but he probably also didn't know exactly how far away 27 was on the blitz as you pointed out. Thanks!
every td this year deep has been dragger concept run at the saftey cut to sideline or keep going it 1 on 1 you just need two guys that can win on the same side of ball and a 5 step drop.
The wildest thing is the people calling this performance a fluke. You don’t have this consistent and good of a game out of luck. The Hail Mary to dhop years ago? Sure. This game? Nah.
Hopefully they can keep him moving around . he's been making these plays for a while . it's when he has to hang in a tight pocket and throw it is when there's problems
Paris didn’t get beat as much as James Conner knocked Jared verse off that block Paris really didn’t need help Conner kinda helped verse get a pressure there lol
You don't have tons of pressure when you have a running game. All the opposing defensive coordinator can do is guess. When you don't have a running game, the defensive players can pin their ears back. The primary example is the LA Rams game. The Cardinals shut down their run which made them have to pass every play which played right into AZ hands. Against the BILLS, AZ shut down their run as well. Josh Allen was their running game. AZ beat themselves against the Bills. Nobody is saying anything about the AZ defensive line. I think they even surprised Gannon how good they are. Now it's fun time for AZ defensive coordinator. Detroit is in serious trouble. Remember Fletcher Cox and them boys? NO TEAM could run on them. Coach Gannon is our HC. And wait until you see our 1st round draft pick who comes off the IR in 2 games...
The best QB in the league and it's not even close. Patrick Mahomes came into a system already established in KC. Kyler came into a system with a coach who had zero experience as a player or coach. Kliff Kingsbury never had an offensive coordinator. Now, think about that... NO OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. This is the clown Arizona hired to run their program. Kliff Kingsbury had Patrick Mahomes as his QB at Texas Tech, and got fired. Everybody blamed Patrick Mahomes instead of Kingsbury and that's why he fell in the draft to KC. AZ hired this clown and everybody blamed Kyler for AZ's problems. Kingsbury is now offensive coordinator for the Commanders and their new QB. Guess who will be blamed for the Commanders problems...
Only Aaron Donald played defense goofy he was making plays against the defense not offense 💀🤣🤡 Kyler would still have performed great if the online and there wr played
So glad we finally get to see Kyler in a traditional pro offense and not that college gimmicky stuff he was relegated to with Kingsbury.
