They complemented each other very well. Govinda overshadowed Amitabh in this one as Big B clearly looked older for his role and Govinda was younger and more energetic.
During release of this movie Amith ji did one ad with Sachin for Bade Miyan Chote miyan song , Amith ji lifts the cool drinks so Sachin Doesn't Reaches There , and finally Sachin has bottle opener in his hands so He has to Share his Cool Drink :) awesome days :)
Govinda is a one man show in himself.....has a great smile , amazing dancer , actor and comedian .......his talent was the main reason why he is not appearing in multihero films because all others are insecure of him as history indicates.......he was better than chunky pandey in aankhen , better than anil kapoor in deewana mastana , better than amitabh bachchan in bade miyan chote miyan and better than sanjay dutt in haseena maan jayegi and jodi no.1.......he had been given supporting role to akshay and salman in bhagam bhag and partner but still overshadowed them..........this is how too much talent works against you
